  1. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-58 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 1 164 6,859 28,790 23.82% Total Showings Added Today: 25 Total Seats Added Today: 2,510 Total Seats Sold Today: 1,469 Nearly 1,500 tickets sold seems crazy, and it very much is. It's only slightly less than Joker's tickets sold on the day of previews. But of course, there's a big asterisk here in the sense that it's still by all accounts the first day of previews. Around here, tickets went on sale at around 8PM, so this still had another full day for people who weren't watching the game or were unaware about tickets dropping tonight to pick up. But again, almost 1,500 tickets is still almost 1,500 tickets. But don't be surprised if the movie starts to crash down to earth tomorrow

  5. I have Comcast, so I guess I'm getting Peacock for free for a year, which...I mean, I guess Punky Brewster's cool
  6. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-59 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 1 139 5,390 26,280 20.51% Holy shiz. To put that into perspective, in only a few hours, TROS sold more tickets than almost every film I've tracked so far's final total, the sole exception being The Lion King. I obviously don't have any comps, outside of Charlie's Angels, which...c'mon, but already selling 20% of your tickets is mad impressive, and while passing Lion King's 7,607 tickets will take a while, hopefully this comes sooner rather than later.

Especially since TROS arguably stole some thunder here (yes it's coming. keep ya shirt on)

  10. I know people want TROS ticket sales in Philly, but I still got three more movies to track (yes I hate my own health, why do you ask?). But hey, the best is being saved for last
  11. Sonic has a comic book. Maybe he says the F word in the movie?

Hopefully the momentum continues this week and onwards. It's basically going to be crunch time these last 10 days, although TROS tickets could limit the sales a bit.
