  1. Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-5 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 30 293 5,506 5.32% Total Seats Sold Today: 32 Comps 0.09x of The Lion King 5 days before release (2.06M) I had a long day and I'm way too tired to talk about box office, so...enjoy this data without my mind-bending commentary.
  2. Pretty sure Harry Shearer has threatened to quit the show a couple times too.
  3. Russi also did a lot of work on The Simpsons, most notably voicing Martin Prince. With her and Marcia Wallace no longer with us, the cast really does feel a lot more empty
  4. btw the "kids hate it" routine was funny for the weekend, but trying to keep it going on weekend 2...yeah that's a no from me dawg
  5. Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-6 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 30 261 5,506 4.74% Total Seats Sold Today: 36 Comps 0.09x of The Lion King 6 days before release (1.98M) T-6: The Lion King: 305 tickets sold that day (3030 total tickets sold) Again, I don't have any quality comps to work with. If anything, I'm just waiting until Monday when I can actually use Once Upon as a comp here. But it did hit a high when it comes to tickets sold, and hopefully it can maintain that momentum in the coming days. btw it's nice only having to worry about one movie for once.
  6. Can't wait for that creepy, uncanny, awkward-looking Venom face for two hours.
  7. King of the Monsters also started at 4PM and had a very similar preview # (6.3M) and it did about 3.092
  8. https://deadline.com/2019/07/once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-quentin-tarantino-box-office-lion-king-weekend-1202654606/ FRIDAY Midday: Disney The Lion King is taking a bigger hit than was originally expected at this point in time with $77M-$78.5M, -60% after a second Friday of $23M, -70% from a week ago. Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is currently besting its low $30M tracking with $40M and a $16.5M Friday that includes last night’s $5.8M.
  9. https://www.boxofficepro.com/long-range-forecast-ad-astra-and-rambo-last-blood/ Ad Astra: 15-25 range. 20/65 Rambo: Last Blood: 10-20 range. 14.5/35 Scary Stories: 11 (+10%)/29 (+9%)
  10. I sincerely doubt this will have an IM on par with King of the Monsters, even with Tarantino fans frontloading Thursday
  11. A King of the Monsters multiplier would give this 44M. But WOM seems better, and I don't think it will be that fan-driven, so it can probably do O/U 50M
