There were rumors that he wants control over Catwoman and Poison Ivy, hence why we got Birds of Prey led by Harley rather than GCS
More like assumptions. Margot said several times she opted for BOP over GCS

Here’s something I’d be real interested in knowing; if this movie is supposed to be based on Flashpoint, and is meant to serve as a reboot for the DCEU, what exactly would WB hope to accomplish from that? I get that the Snyderverse was a huge mess, but I was under the impression that WB had already pretty much abandoned the interconnected universe approach, outside of keeping several of the actors from the Snyder era.
The only real reason I can think of for why they’d go through the trouble of doing an in-universe retcon is if they want to eventually have Robert Pattinson alongside Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa, but I was under the impression that Matt Reeves’ Batman was supposed to be a stand-alone trilogy. Plus, if they intend to use this movie to explain why Ben Affleck is now Robert Pattinson, then why is it being released after the Matt Reeves Batman movie?
Trying to find logic in WB's decision making is a futile endeavor

I have no idea what’s going to happen but I want to see another JL movie that includes Batman so I don’t see how that happens if it isn’t him.
Ya'll make it seem so difficult when all they have to do is cast another actor to play Batman. This way Reeves can do fuck all he wants without forcing anything. WarnerMedia seems to be embracing the multiverse. That's the way to go

I really hope Battinson is in his own universe
He is. Trades already said he has no crossover potential

Was Cyborg ever rumored to be in Daley and Goldstein's movie?

I hope we find out why this was initially pushed to 2020 in the first place. All that "Summer was great for the first one" sounds like PR to me

The November pics are the back ups in case they push it back again

King Nolan saving theaters wow

hopefully it’s more then this.
I think the positive reactions to the news will help with that.
This makes no sense. Why would Henry come back for 1 measly cameo and why would WB want him back just for that?

Nolan wants that 20%. Can't blame him tbh

Sell it to Netflix and cue the headlines:
"Over 100m household saw Tenet in the first 3 days. In America alone"

A lot of states are starting to open up now, but if this gambit proves deadly (which I think it will), this will only further delay the opening of theaters. I think the July date is/was obtainable, but only if states stayed the current course. I think come the end of this month/June, we are going to see a surge in Covid deaths which will mean Tenet will be delayed. I don't see CA and NY allowing theaters to open if Covid surges again.
There's no "if" here. The same politicians pushing for re-openings acknowledge what a terrible idea it is
This is gonna backfire

They been casting 30 year olds to play high school kids since time immemorial. It'll be fine

To put the subject back squarely on the project itself, does anyone buy those rumors about how this movie is supposed to be used as an excuse to reboot the DCEU, including it being the explanation for the new Batman? I don’t personally buy that, but I guess it would be kind of interesting. Still, if that’s what they’re planning, it wouldn’t make any sense to release the Matt Reeves Batman movie before this.
Nope. It goes against WB's "standalone" approach and Reeves' plan for an unconstrained Batman
Flash coming out after just cements the fact that no such plans are in the cards

Optimistic of them to assume things will get back to normal by then
Not only is the current admin a dumpster fire but lots of people are going to be jobless

Why WB chose Dune over this for Christmas baffles me to this day. Especially after Aquaman
