I remember seeing Ratatouille at a nationwide sneak preview (sad that they don't really do these anymore) two weeks before it came out and making the disastrous mistake of not eating dinner beforehand. Ended up emerging from the theater hungry as hell.
The box office run of the first Pokemon movie is so hilarious in retrospect, especially since it was before the frontloading really became a "thing". It went from seeming like an easy lock for $100M after opening weekend to not even making $90M in total.
Didn't a movie theater accidentally attach the trailer for Nymphomaniac before Frozen or some other kids movie and all the kids and their parents screamed in horror several months ago? LOLOLOL.
