So sad - as a child of the 70s I grew up with The Rockford Files & Victor/Victoria is one of my favorites movies - he was a class act

Now watching Lost Highway. Only my second Lynch movie (Mulholland Dr. is da shit, tho.)
Robert Blake creeped me out in that one!!

I ran into my car door yesterday and know my knee hurts.
Ouch - how did you do that??

I'm watching Cake Boss, and I'm sad.
He's such a dick to his sister, Mary.
I hate him & they stretch the truth - I grew up in that neighborhood & my friend Pete's family owned that bakery - not the Cake Boss's family. Only tourists go to that bakery now!!

That list above is wrong. It's got theater counts mixed in with screen counts. Anything above 350/360 (like 500, 600) is a screen count. Edge of Tomorrow played in 331 theaters ON 632 screens.
Thank you for always taking the time to explain these things - can be confusing at times

Well, I'd be alright with the money, but not the career. I mean, seriously, playing Superman in a 200 million movie, then getting reduced to the likes of supporting characters in Chuck and Arrow? While still young and good-looking? It's extremely disappointing.
And the worst part is that he's not a bad actor.
I thought he was good in Zack & Miri Make a Porno - think that's the last time I saw him in anything

My my so many haterz here.
If Tom is has been, who is then bunch of rest actors?
Clooney and Damon combined and "Monuments men" earned 154 millon WW.
So Jolie and Pitt has one hit under their belt, so what?
Links for you and open your eyes.

I don't understand why the Jolie lovers have to constantly put down other actors in order to build her up - I don't see any other fans acting like this - very juvenile!!!

Where's Tom's?
Oh please do you know how many actors/actresses who were magnificent have never won an Oscar - sure bring this in when Jolie cannot come near Tom's box office success!!

Dame Jolie embarrasses La Cruz once again.
In no world will Jolie ever embarrass Tom - you guys are all high on Maleficent's success which I attribute more to Disney than to Jolie - her track record ain't all that box office wise - Tom's so-called "flops" usually earn more than any other actors "successes". And take the Kung Fu Panda & Shark Tale movies off of Jolie's box office & she is mediocre at best - Tom doesn't need cartoons to pad his box office!!

But, he's a dick all his life what's so fascinating about that?
Probably because he was a powerful dick (no pun intended) on top of all those cross-dressing rumours

Finally got around to seeing Dragon 2. The director is attempting to make something really challenging for kids with the complex morality of something like "Saving Private Ryan" and he knocks it out of the park. Impressed by how little action there is in the first hour and how he just lets atmosphere linger, even if kids grow a little bored by the lack of action. He doesn't care if the kids get bored, because in the last 15 minutes he will knock you out of your seat with intensity. Great effort by this guy, Dubois.
That's all well & good but the parents care if the kids get bored - maybe that's why it's not doing so well.

Buffalo Bill I could buy, he felt like someone who might actually exist in real life which makes him all the more disturbing than the operatic and larger-than-life Lecter.
Welcome to the forums, btw.
Thank you Jack - lurking for awhile but got to say you always make me laugh!

Buffalo Bill was pretty scary but Hannibal Lecter was just Hamfest 2000. I didn't buy Anthony Hopkins for a second.
We are so opposite - Buffalo Bill makes me laugh - especially when he's dancing!

Saw Silence of the Lambs. Pretty good. Hated how every dialogue scene was shot with the two actors talking directly to the camera. Also didn't care for Anthony Hopkins ultra-hammy and completely non-threatening performance.
Really?? He scared the hell outta me when I first saw it!

Me too but it seems like the Japan box office has been overtaken by females - Frozen's gross over there is astounding & now Maleficent is raking it in!! Look at it this way - EOT has already grossed more in Japan than DOFP & CA:WS & is closing in on Noah - makes me feel a bit better!
