  3. The States are beautiful to visit but I wouldn't work there. Do you know they only have 2 weeks holidays per year???

I am learning Portuguese too. I am on level 9 :) I spent 10 days practising in Lisbon and Madeira early this month ;) but I prefer Brazilian accent.

That's not necessarily true - the more years you work at a company the more weeks vacation you get - some people I know get a month to 6 weeks vacation time per year.  Depends on the company

  4. I enjoyed it - thought the acting was fantastic & the 70s was portrayed very well.  Liked Christian Bale & Jeremy Renner's characters the most.  Amy Adams is always terrific & Jennifer Lawrence was very good - made me laugh & drove me crazy at the same time.  Not a fan of Bradley Cooper so he really annoyed the hell out of me in this movie - I really hated him & was so glad he got his at the end.  Honestly don't think it deserved an Oscar nomination but it was a fun ride.

  5. New Markets

  7. Watched this the other night with my son & his girlfriend - they said I had too & would love it.  Surprised the hell out of me & I really did enjoy it.  I have loved Keanu since I first saw him in River's Edge & of course I loved him in this - he shocked the hell out of me with the fighting/shooting scenes - incredible.  Add to Keanu Willem Dafoe & Ian McShane & I was happy indeed.  Loved the whole underworld they created with the gold coins & the rules in the bar/hotel.  Loved the colors in this - I grew up seeing the NY skyline & it looked so different & beautiful in this movie.  Couldn't believe how much I anticipated & looked forward to Keanu killing the dog killer (I kept calling him Theo from GOT) & I really liked his father's character - he made me laugh alot.  I have been telling all my friends & family to watch this - it's a real fun ride!!
