Fuck Squad. People should be dishing their cash on the best film of the Summer
Yeah, Nine Lives will destroy Suicide Squad and make WB wish they had Nine Lives.

Slop, STD, some of these movies have strange acronyms.

Is it true that the message of this movie is that if you
SpoilerAre suffering from depression of any kind of mental illness, you should kill yourself and make the world a better place

Lights Out & Ice Age still haven't hit Movietickets.com

Everything Teresa Palmer does usually flops but this looks like it'll do good, since no one cares about the lead actress in horror movies, 18/51
Warm Bodies

Probably become Blumhouses second most successful series.

I believe Conjuring is only the third horror franchise with two films over 100m. The other two being Scream and Paranormal Activity.
But all three of those franchises are rated R. I thought horror HAD to be PG13 in order to make money

As long as there's the WW Number, all will be saved, even if this sucks domestically.. The WW Number in 2016 saves everything rom being a flop...
But Ghostbusters has been banned in China.

Won't Ghostbusters have problems next weekend when Lights Out comes out? Both movies are targeting the same auidence, teen girls.

The guy who Lionsgate promoted put a stop to their horror films for a few years. Now they're in a mess, they're releasing some again.
Now they're doing Saw 8. Hopefully we'll get My Bloody Valentine 2 although it's a bit late now.

No, it has release plan here, but title way translated in to "Superhuman Expendables"
Really, I read China bans movies with Ghosts in them.

Will Ghostbusters be banned in China?

It's sad to see Mike Flanagan wasting his talents on movies like this. Like acab said, it looks the same as pretty much every other possession flick from the past five years. Hopefully The Wailing will change that and show the Yanks how it's done.
The movie looks like The Conjuring 2, beat for beat. Very desperate of them.

Looks much better than the first one to me but that's not a surprise considering the original's quality and Mike Flanagan's credentials.
Still it looks like every other supernatural/possetion horror flick of the last 10 years or so.
It will do fine though.
I dunno, seems sequels to hit movies that no one liked have been doing very badly recently.

This looks just as awful as the original! Really seems like it's trying to mimic The Conjuring 2
-
I heard this is a spin off of Jaws. Blake Lively is released to the Brody family and the sharks are out for revenge.
-
Wans biggest misfire recently was Insidious Chapter 2. Also as a producer he isn't guaranteed, he produced a sight movie titled Demonic and the average Annabelle.

Fantastic for Conjuring.
Horror needed this.
Will it join Scream and Paranormal Activity with two movies over $100m?
But those movies aren't PG13, how on earth could they make that kind of money?
-
I got the trailer with The Conjuring and the audience was laughing loudly at it.
-
I thought this was better than part 1. Way more intense and frightening. My only complaints is that it's a tad too long and some of the CGI sucked. The auidence seemed to be into it, a lot of freaking out. I was initially worried that the audience would miss behave as the Lights Out trailer showed before hand and people where laughing at it.

I'm still hoping slashers make a return.
They'll probably come back with a PG13 rating, ugh!

Before I Wake leaked online, months ahead of its September release.
Poor Relativity.
It's their own fault for sitting on it for so long. It's been released in other countries at this point. Foreign DVD releases = leaks.

Everyone is ignoring the true travesty this weekend. How on earth did Nine Lives not cross the $100 million mark? I suspect that DC hacked into theaters and every time someone bought a ticket to Nine Lives, it went towards Suicide Squad instead!
