    that ending stinks though and it will likely kill all repeat ticket sales. Thats why they NEED to change that ending for the better with a reverse outcome of what happens

    still a very good opening for Insurgent when people on thursday thought it would only make 40 million. So the increases on friday and saturday have been fantastic for it.

    Megan is a great April glad to see they are keeping her and not listen to those with their own biased opinion of who April should be. They don't know better than the producers anyway. Imagine if people had listed to them Ledger would never had played Joker. Daniel Craig would never had been Bond the list goes on and on.

    i don't understand this so Lionsgate does not earn money on their movies overseas ? And we don't even know what te domestic numbers will be yet. I am amazed that this site has trolls that actually is happy about the drop from the first. I thought this site was more mature. Besides we really have no clue how much the drop is yet. Or if it will drop.

    But overseas sales has had a massive increase over the first one. So that should make Lionsgate happy. So this will likely make more than Divergent anyway Was the competition of movies in the theater weaker last year ?

    not to me either. It can still pass 50 with this and it might also top Divergent. Was there bigger competition this year with Cinderella ?

    Variety and quite frankly all sites believe Insurgent will still pull in 55-60 million. Why does those that are negative on this movie don't ?

Variety reports something complete different they say Insurgent opens impressively http://variety.com/2015/film/news/insurgent-box-office-1201456858/ They also still think it will top Divergent's weekend numbers
