  1. If feel so stupid. Was one of the Inception fanboys at BOM and predicted 800 mio worldwide from the beginning.Didn't watch it at the movie theatre and just rented the DVD. Found it very boring and dull.Well, I just wait for the free TV premiere now and give it a second chance...

  2. I think he will get there for sure. Its not even debatable. He has proven over a decade now and he is still very young. I am sure with another 2-3 movies he will be rated among all time greats.Does that mean he will convince everyone. Probably not. But general perception among critics and audience will be there for sure.

Wow, he is here for a decade. For all time greats its's three or four decades, you know.
  3. Both were terrible. Now Spider-man Danny Elfman theme was epic,, inspiring & emotional.

Regarding SH scores Elfman wins easily. He also wrote the main theme for Flash TV series and of course for Batman 89:http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgpmdqUEQRMSilvestri did much better themes than the one for TA.

  4. don't see the big deal with BKB, and this is coming from a Nolan/Batman fan. He seems like a total jokester and I always like reading and laughing at this posts. His shooting comment really is the only bad thing he did.

He apologized without end a week ago after he realized he wrote something stupid. Those six months are way too much IMO. I don't care too much because I really hated the fact he always wrote everything in bold letters...
  5. Nolan had a unique circumstance and limitation working with this film that he didn't have with his other two Batman films. If everyone knew this, I think they'd appreciate the film more than they do now. I'm just too tired to write all of this now, and will do so at a later time.

No, I won't appreciate it more just because they worked with the second draft or whatsoever and didn't write a third draft and so on. Yes, maybe we have a QOS situation here, but that doesn't help.
  6. He's also a guy that gave so much for the city that hunts him down. He also lost a loved one in an attempt to save her life. He is also a guy that has been essentially forced to live a lie for so long. He saved an entire city and countless lives on many occassions, yet is hated. Considering the magnitude of all this, yes. Yes, I think audiences will empathize.

Problem is, he was whining for EIGHT years. Two years, okay. But with eight years the overall reaction will just be: Gee, get a life again. Wake up, man. This was just a terrible character set-up.
  7. He talks about empathy is the most important tool for any screenwriter and that pays off in spades for Bruce Wayne here, especially when you see his whole journey throughout the trilogy.

What? When we first encounter Bruce Wayne in TDKR his company is more or less toast and therefore he can't provide any benefits for the poor anymore. (Like his parents did.) Makes him look like an idiot.Besides that he completely missed what is going on in Gotham. Because he doesn't care. He more or less has become a ghost that doesn't care for anything. And that stupidity didn't last a year or so but a fucking EIGHT years. All this time he was just whining and hiding it seems. And you actually come to the conclusion this behaviour could create some empathy? Wow.
  8. I'm still waiting for plot holes. pinocchio: The links you sent me reveal zero plot holes. They are juts a bunch of comments why the author didn't like TDKR. I can accept that someone didn't enjoy the film, but that remains an opinion, not a fact. I'm not trying to convince someone ato change his/her opinion, but I'd like to discuss mistakes if there are obvious one.

But that's just what I wrote, Alfred. I don't care for plot holes. So in the end you enjoyed the movie and I didn't.And if you liked it's not a fact either.
