  1. definetly hyped! Polaris, Blink and Thunderbird! hell yes!! intrigued with Polaris role, and look, but its Bryan, so I'll try not to get too excited with high expectations lol
  2. the June-October rumor its for X-Men, not NM. Josh Boone said he could start filming NM late April, tho more than likely a May start. Lets hope they announce the cast next weeks (its about damm time, lol)
  3. One has to love Josh Boone, he seems so hyped with his movie and in constant touch with the fans, not to mention that he is a deep comic lover. We definetly need more filmakers like him in the franchise. And nice art and kind of confirmation of Maisie. Just hope Fox announces the whole cast soon, because this feels like its been in development for half a decade, lol. Time to make some real and big noise with the awaited annoucement
  4. I think she should do a Mystique solo movie. Fox is ready for the it and the fanbase has asked for it all this year. oh wait....
  5. I wont predict the complete top 10 of next year, but at least the cbm, in this case worldwide: Justice League: 900-1.1 Guardians: 850-950 Spiderman: 800-900 Wonder Woman: 750-800 Thor 3: 700-790 Logan: 550-600 the hardest battle, imo, will be between Spiderman and Guardians. After G1 success, one would guess the sequel will do more than Spiderman, but you never knows. Potential surprise: Logan. I guess it could surprise us all and do more than 600m, but as of now, I'll go the safe route. At the same time, who knows, it could even do less than 500, lol. But with its quality and R-rated, it could be a fan pleaser, I guess
  6. Fox 1st date in 2018 is March 4. So more than likely that will be the premiere of NM
  7. +1 he looks nothing like the comics character. And for some reason I see him more for comedy movies than for a character like Cannonball. Josh better have other options in consideration.
  8. my take on this one would be between 400-500m. Basically around the X-Men movies number, and since this is a Fox movie too, I guess even more likely
  9. only 3m this weekend? oh my..... thats really low. I guess 3-4m more overseas until Japan. Hopefully it makes more than 5m in Japan, tho. 10m is unlikely there? if the rest of the world is any indication, I guess XMA will have a hard time doing that number in Japan, right? oh well.....
  10. so what could be XMA total number after this sunday? in $$ I mean
  11. This is one of those cases where one wonder how much a X-Men movie would make, lets say this same X:A for example, under the Marvel Studios name and marketing.
  12. do you think a sequel has some potential to do a least a bit better, if Fox improves the marketing and some of these new young actors become more popular in the next 2-4 years?
  13. so X:A hasnt surpassed Days of future past in China yet, right?
  14. with just those 12m this weekend.... even 550m arent a guarantee, right? oh well... unless Japan numbers are a surprise, with more than 20m, but that wont happen, so.... around 530-540m I guess
  15. a big superhero movie doing around 500m in this day and age is really poor. Even more being a well known franchise. The fact that a new character like Antman makes around the same money as X-Men: Apocalypse..... I just cant see how a studio would be happy with that.
  16. Whats your final prediction for overseas number, guys? 400? or maybe 450m?
  17. thanks. hopefully the final number its closer to 60m than 55m.
  18. if XA starts with 60m... do you think it has a chance of doing 30m next weekend? or with Warcraft thats highly unlikely? imo, as long as XMen reaches 100m, I will be totally happy
  19. is it possible to see China updates also in $? Im having a hard time finding that post that actually puts a clean number, lol. Could anyone post the Friday & saturday numbers of X-Men?
  20. better 1st day than Dofp? wow, pretty cool to read. Lets wait for weekend number to see what happens.
  21. to me at this point, its pretty clear that Fox just doesnt have enough ambition and expectations with the X-Men boxoffice. X1, X2, X3, Origins, TW and FC all made betweent 300 and 450, and they still continued. So... why would they stop now? they just accept these numbers, even if the X-men have much more potential than that. But since Fox never made big changes to make the franchise bigger, seems like they wont ever do or care. So basically, we'll get another sequel in 3 years, this time maybe with a smaller budget. Lets say 160-170m or so.
  22. 115m according to boxofficemojo. This better reach 200m by this sunday, if not, really bad sign
