1. I should have perhaps used a semi-colon instead of a hyphen then, as I intended the R-rated fact as added trivia not adding to the initial point, although there is no common usage for the hyphen. Apologies for any confusion caused. 2. Unfounded opinion again - T2 was rated R and the highest grossing film of '91, and is widely regarded as both "good" and "fun".

Patently false. You can even read the scriptment yourself online - he intended it to be R-Rated. More libellous unfounded claims from a Star Wars avatar, I'm starting to feel like Phil Connors.

At least someone is using data, even if it is speculative. It's superior to the hyperbole and feelings that a lot of the other posts seem to be basing their predictions on.

Jim won't be using 120 fps Kal, 48fps is being used for action sequences and standard 24fps is being used for everything else.

I'm astounded by the number of times a person can be wrong in so few words. Can you provide any evidence for what you supposedly 'know'? No, of course you can't. Then again, if you could form evidence based arguments you wouldn't be in a thread defending TFA would you?

The start date has been given to plenty of people, you stated 'the start date hasn't been given'. Had you said 'the start date hasn't been announced to the general public' then you'd be correct. I'm not going to divulge Jim's secrets here though, that would be even crazier than Kal's musings.

It's exactly this kind of Americentrism that will prevent TFA from being #1 Worldwide - although I'm sure there is some way you'll doublethink your way to convincing others that 49/51 versus 28/72 split domestic/international is somehow a good thing.

False - he just said it was better than 3 & 4, and that he saw it as the proper continuation of the trilogy - stop putting words in people's mouths, that's libel.

How horribly misinformed - he's stated himself that he's not a perfectionist, but a 'rightist' - ergo he likes to do things right. Filming starts in 4 weeks, and all 3 films are being filmed at the exact same time, not in sequential order.

My apologies, I didn't mean to imply that you were paid to post what you were posting, just that you were posting since it said 'staff' under your avatar. I've never heard of someone who occupies a volunteer role be referred to as staff before... although I've not worked for anyone but myself in over 30 years, so I'm a little out of the loop in these matters!

So it's a volunteer position? What? I volunteer at my local soup kitchen every once in a while, I don't consider myself staff there though... that's crazy.
