I thought XXX had left Chinese cinemas? It's still being shown?

We have an international figure from The-Numbers.com with $280,455,000. Up to last Sunday I had the figures at $274,164,144 but Pro Box Office had it down as $271,412,256. I just wish we had accurate numbers!

Well it's grossed $2.6 million in China this week but Sony haven't released an international number this week. Probably because they keep on getting it wrong. So the total gross up to this weekend will be something between $304.2 million to $313 million.

Shall we have a prediction about RE6 for this weekend? I'll say $2.5 million this weekend. When will it be leaving cinemas in China?

What did I say about Sony changing the gross lol? Well they dropped it $8.8 million, so the international gross is $271,412,256 with the worldwide total at $298,176,132. However, it has grossed $3,440,000 in China up to Thursday so the total gross is $301,616,132 so it's still the biggest one!

But on Thursday Potus said it would be losing half its screens. I did say it should do about $5-6 million.

Well RE6 was estimated to do 1050 million in China and it's at 1058 now, so what is the final estimate looking at now? When is it leaving cinemas in China?

Well technically this gross could include the $7.5 million that was taken off it a few weeks ago. I just want it higher than Afterlife to be the biggest one! A great achievement for the RE film series!

Well so much for RE6 doing $2-3 million this weekend! It did over $6 million! I thought it would do between $5-6 million.

I really hope RE6 can gross $300 million worldwide. It's ridiculous how Sony keep on messing with the international gross! They took $7.5 million off it, then said it had grossed $267.3 million last week, then changed it to $256.6 million!

So RE6 should finish with around 1050m?

Really? That's low, I thought it would be more like $5-6 million? There's no big releases out this week are there?

Any idea what RE6 will do at the weekend?

Sony are the worst studio ever! So on Sunday the worldwide gross was $293.8 million, then on Monday another update which says no it's actually at $283.3 million! What the hell is going on? Box Office Pro have the international gross at $256,615,942 but i've added the totals up to $258,131,398 and with countries not included it must be over $260 million internationally. It's a complete joke, it's like Sony doesn't want this to be the most successful film in the franchise.

But it's Sony who have dropped the gross by $7.5 million. I can understand it dropping a million or so but $7.5 million is ridiculous, they've obviously made an error. BOM are just reporting what the studio tell them.

I hope RE6 will do well during the week and next weekend. It needs to gross at least $20 million after Sunday for the film to gross more than $300 million worldwide.

I hope they'll update it with the proper gross as it's missing $7.5 million. It should really be about $289.5 million after this weekend but with the missing gross it will be about $282 million. If Sony don't end up updating it, it may close with less than $300 million!

Again this week, the reported total by Sony is supposed to be $211,870,273 up to Sunday but I have it as $213,873,226 and that's only the countries where RE is still in the film charts. I don't get why Sony are under-grossing the film.

Any idea on what RE will make in total in China?

I added up the totals on Box Office Mojo and it added up to $115.6 million so I don't get why the overall total dropped by $7.5 million?

Any idea on how the film will continue during the week? How are pre-sales for the week ahead?

The official totals from the individual countries on Box Office Mojo are $115,617,018 up to last Sunday not including the countries that aren't tracked by BOM so that $113.5 million total is clearly wrong.
