Not surprising. Inside Out should have a lot of nostalgia at this point given how beloved/good it is. All we can hope for is that IO2 is of similar quality/reception

Nowdays they are tanking worse than can possibly be imagined, which begs the question of what changed. Shazam managed $6m previews, 4 years later Shazam 2 can only manage $3m. Ezra Miller wasn't wrong when he said he "completely broke the universe" in The Flash movie.
Ironically, a similar thing is happening with Jonathan Majors and the MCU. Audiences don't like this kind of BS.

Anyone following any of the comics right now? I’ve been trying to keep up with all of the ‘Age of Krakoa’ X-Men comics but it’s like 500 issues at this point. The overarching storyline is good IMO. I’m curious to see how they’re going to “end” it.
I’m also into this new G.O.D.S comic written by Jonathan Hickman. It’s revamping the whole cosmic hierarchy. If you know me, you know I like the side of comics that involves big powers and large scales.

While it's true that the box office implications of The Marvels will impact the MCU at large, SpiderByte is also correct that every film specific thread does not need to become a general MCU thread. There is discussion amongst the admin team for a dedicated MCU thread but for now, general discussions can take place in the overarching Disney thread.
