Winter vacation..
Huge for family movies
I understand that. Did you mean to mention anything about Week 7? That part seems arbitrary and odd to me.

Fri - sun in week 7 are always much much bigger than week 6. Regardless when it opend..
But its pretty good none the less
Week 7? That's weird. Any particular reason?
Also, this is Zootopia's second weekend in Denmark, for what it's worth.

It will bomb in Asian market. Too many references to the western culture
Even so, there's plenty of Asian fanart of this movie anyways.

There was one last year, it's called Spongebob and it made $160M, I would say that is pretty mainstream
OK, you got me. However, it was advertised as majority CG. Also, it's Spongebob. It's not like a studio made a risky venture with it.

Nah, imo they will get a real dragon for this movie.
Sadly, sometimes I think finding a real dragon is more likely than ever seeing a traditionally animated movie in the mainstream again.

ZOOTOPIA
After launching in a very limited number of markets last frame, Disney’s Zootopia widened its international run to 22 this weekend, of which five were significant new plays. The sophomore session was worth $31.2M in 36% of the offshore footprint, and set a handful of records for the studio. In new bows, France ($9.2M) andPoland ($1.2M) painted the biggest start ever for a Disney animated release.Zootopia was No. 1 in France ahead of Deadpool and also had that distinction inMexico with $4.5M — +25% over the opening of Frozen in that market.Source: Deadline
Also of note is that it doubled its previous weekend in Denmark. European releases seem to have more volatile grossing patterns.
Plus, new records in France and Poland! Yay!

So now it's set the record in Belgium and France.

The trailer is designed to debut with Zootopia, unfortunately.
Yeah, I should guess as much. Still, this movie is 10 months away. Trailers like this usually don't usually come out that early.

Zootopia made €1,132,472 in its Belgium opening. The only animated film to have a bigger debut is Minions, and that is a marketing juggernaut.
This movie is probably going to be in the top 5 of the year in Belgium's box office. I wonder how this bodes for other countries. The Danish performance wasn't remarkable.

ZOOTOPIA
Taking advantage of school holidays in various markets, Disney’s Zootopia began opening in a very limited number of international markets this weekend, earning $2.8M in Spain and an additional $1.7M in Belgium and Denmark for a total of $4.5M. It was the No. 1 family film in all 3 markets for the weekend. Opening in mid-term school holidays, it was the biggest ever animated opening for a Disney or Pixar movie in Belgium. Its rollout continues next weekend in key markets including France, Italy, Korea and Mexico, prior to its domestic debut the weekend of March 4 which will also see its debut in Germany, Russia, and China. Other markets open through March and April.Source: Deadline
By the way, the estimates are now at $5.1 million.

Such a shame that Euros are so weak right now.

This article says that Zootopia had the all time biggest opening day of any Disney or Pixar movie in Belgium! €195,000!

Opening Wednesdays are common in Belgium, by the way.

Good.
The Dragon is going to be CGI, probably. It would be too similar to the original if it was traditional animation.

Never mind, I figured out that you mean 7th week of the year, not 7th week of a film's release.
