  1. The 'cancel culture' learned nothing from Johnny Depp's case.
2 years ago everyone thought he's a horrible abuser,
backed with a court descision no less, and look
    where he is now.
Calling Ezra Miller 'a pedophile' while basing it on rumours and fragments of information is wrong.
All the keyboard judges should chill and stop pretending they
already know everything that is going on, all of us know nothing.
Let the court deal with that.

If it has ok legs it may total around BvS, which I would say is a win. Hopefully opening ends up surprising and no competition pushes it higher.

It has a great reception and RT score, no way it will have 2.1 multiplier.
    x3 is more realistic.

Edit: I just realised you meant BvS total. I think it will be way above it as well 😝

  3. GoT actors are jinxing every high profile movie they take part in:

Gods of Egypt - Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: 15% on RT
Terminator Genisys - Emilia Clarke: 27% on RT
Seventh Son - Kit Harington: 12% on RT
The New Mutants - Maisie Williams: 35% on RT
X-Men Apocalypse - Sophie Turner: 47% on RT
The Predator (2018) - Alfie Allen: 32% on RT

I think Eternals could've stayed fresh if only one ex-GoT actor was in it, but with two of them? 😦

A second trailer will probably have a more linear narrative, giving a clearer explanation of the underlining conflict, as well as introducing Cheetah as a second antagonist.

The first Wonder Woman trailer at Comic Con is the perfect example I can give

It was very well structured, but I guess you're right

The 2nd trailer will probably be much more about the actual plot.

BTW - I forgot to mention that I was very disappointed they didn't end the trailer with the WW theme from BvS / first movie.

I was sure they will play it in some new 80s version of it.

  5. I have mixed emotions regarding this trailer:

On the one hand I was a bit underwhelmed after seeing it, on the other I love many seperate things in it.

When I watch a trailer I want to understand what the movie is about and see some satisfying action scenes,

this trailer gave random scenes and just small glimpses of action sequences (which is very annoying when it's lasting no more than 3-4secs).

Also seeing Wonder Woman using only her lasso so many times reached a boring point for me.

I understand it would be ridiculous to see her with a shield and a sword in the 80s, but it's a shame they didn't add something

    else instead.

It seems Patty Jenkins wanted to create a "real" 80s film, so I think it can either be a really good movie or a really bad one,

    just like the 80s films.

The movie, which is 160 minutes long and closer in tone to Schumacher Batman than WONDER WOMAN.

It is set in the 80s so I didn't expect a replica of Wonder Woman.

I remember some member here saw WW before it was released and he didn't like it at all (the exact words were: "Uff not good")
I'm sorry you didn't like it at your test screening,
I just find it hard to believe Patty Jenkins can F*up to the degree of Schumacher.

  7. I just hope WW84 will have much more fast pacing action scenes and better VFX than the first one.
Beyond that i'm really curious to see

how they will integrate (spoiler ahead)

    Spoiler

the Aids apidemic into the plot.
Last year we saw several photos from the set of people demonstrating about this subject.
I hope it's in the movie to give it some realistic 80s depth, cause so far by the spoilers I read this movie seems like a mix of 'Indiana Jones' and 'Romancing The Stone'.

I don't think awareness is high on this one. Shazam isn't Aquaman, which received plenty of exposure from Justice League.  This needs a stronger marketing push.

Aquaman received a lot of negative exposure from JL tho it didn't hurt him cause the actual movie was good

Shazam is gonna be YUGE, people are craving for "new" Comicbook characters.
