Sadly we usually don't get weekdays numbers, it's one of the rare exceptions....So it's impossible to get a clear comparison with another movie.

Now from what I saw these last few years I would say these numbers are relatively good, particularly for a movie that is not a comicbook movie or an animated movie.

The only way to know if R1 is doing well is to wait for this weekend numbers, to see if it's holding well.

It's alright. I understand that. Same thing happens in my country. We don't have any box office systems so it's hard to track a movies performance. Just local movie which has total admissions listed... Our only reliable sources is The Numbers and Deadline ( if we're lucky ).

Anyway , I'm glad that this doing relatively good in Brazil so far and I will wait for the weekend numbers to get a better idea about its performance.

Also Nice job Fullbuster with your daily updates that makes this thread alive!! :bravo:

  2. $1B WW is still likely for Finding Dory.

This weekend , it made $4M in Mexico so maybe around $10M more from there.

In Japan it made $4.8M for 35% drop. Expect a final total around $60M so $40M left.

Another $11M Elsewhere , I hope they could bring in another $35M.

$25M domestic still on the tank.

    Right now it stands at $781M WW so 781 + 25 + 35 + 40 + 10 = $890M ( hope it can reach $900M )

UK + Germany + Italy just need to contribute another $100M. Considering Nemo made around $120M in that market back in 2002 , that would be an easy feat

    For Dory.

That's my analysis. How about yours :-)

  3.

it's not wide across the country.  Only some states get it this weekend coming... it's release is spread over the next 3 weekends i think (could be 2.. not 100% sure..)

we often have 2 animated films in release at the same time at this time of the year.  They are all targeting our June / July School holidays.  Both should be fine i think.

Great news for both movies then [emoji1]
