2 hours after presales start , most show for opening day at XXI Cinema around 4PM - 8PM are 40%-50% full while morning and late night show are just 15%-25%.
Note : my estimation are based from 46 theatres. I'm checking every theatre based on seat map and estimate the % sold myself.
Note again : I'm not checking every showtime cause it would take forever. Just checking random showtimes at different theatre and all points out to similar result.
Presales for CGV still hasn't started yet.
Lastly , as Indonesian , I can proudly say that there's no crashing on the website😎 . that 12:15 AM start time helps. I'm expecting more seats sold during tomorrow afternoon.

$2.5M is great number , perhaps you're not aware that CM opens on national holiday at Wednesday while Endgame will open on usual workday. So beating that by 20% would be awesome and that's still in the low end of projection. After those 5AM show and 24hr show , I believe it has a chance to push the number up to $3.5M. As for $4M , it's difficult if not nearly impossible.

He also mentions that some theatre of the 3rd largest chain in Indonesia , Cinemaxx will open 24hr to show Endgame ( not sure which day since the schedule still not out yet ) and some of the theater from largest chain , XXI will also show endgame as early as 5AM for the first showing. Both would be the first time this thing happens in Indonesia.

$2.5M - $3M for OD ( new record )
$13M - $16M of OW ( new record again )
$28M - $35M total ( and again )
If that happens ( in fact it's locked btw ) , then that would be the third time OD record and OW record being broken this year in a span just 1 month and 1 week.
Previous record holder :
- Local movies dilan 1991 ( beating IW ) 5 weeks ago
- CM broke it just a week later
- will be crush by Endgame a month later

(day light something), but all countries I checked for now that do release before the US (excluding China, that starts I think 3 hours earlier or so) seem to release synchronised, means on paper at different times, but in reality at the same moment (forgot the word for that, I hope its clear what I mean)
Damnnn , why y’all guys really want to prove me wrong 😭😭 😭. Even if what you’re saying it’s true , at least SK still has an earliest opening day show at 7 AM among those countries which makes that show the world first show for regular release right? ( please don’t tell me Australia has a 6 AM show for opening day )
