Ah yes the film they spent so much time saying it was for "ASIAN AMERICANS" is a success in America and you think not being accepted on China will make the character disappear? especially knowing how Marvel operates. It's irrelevant if it was "taylor made for China" if it's sucessful either way, like there is no logic of that mindset. -

I mean budget wise Ant-man was already a success without China, not impressive numbers but still good, Marvel can live without it, you don't need a billion to be a success. Let alone that 90% of the next marvel movies are crossovers or hyped sequels with a bunch of heroes.

It's funny because the movie seem that it could have been liked in China, not because "muh chinese actors" but because the movie is good and the few reviews in chinese that happened to watch the movie ( outside China ofc ) were mostly positive.

I would blame him if he was literally talking shit but he was sharing a personal experience, so if that cost him the release date so be it. Feige will be on his side either way.

Yes? that is why I would not be bothered if they stop doing it, many Hollywood movies are being so corrupted trying to appeal China. Funny enough not it did not affect Shang Chi's quality but the point still stands. -

Well sad if it does not get a release date for it but freedom of speech is a thing, he told a real experience not directly insulted China.... I hope the domestic total overperforms so the movie should not even need China to inflate the total, the doing whatever they can to not insult China is so annoying in the current movie experience. -

I love how people have selective reading with the reviews, more than half of the reviews praise Simu. And yes I don't know in what universe Anthony Mackie is not charismatic and liked.

SONY most likely did not want to release Venom in the shaky situation that China is having with Hollywood movies ( not like it will improve ) At the end of the day the first one did more on China than domestic.

Superman has many clones, it won't be the first or last character that look like that, it's the same as speedsters. Heck Marvel has Hyperion, Sentry and Blue Marvel and they are all like Superman... Thena is nothing like Wonder Woman.
