Demon Slayer is the most overhyped movie and series ever... Not even close to best anime movie of the year.

Yeah I don't see why people think he was trashing BW, besides BW had a solid reception but it was far unversally praised... Let alone that the main fandom was super mad with the Taskmaster plot line even comparing it to the Mandarin.

Raya was not even about China, it was influenced by Southeast Asian countries. So why it was for China exactly? because Asia = China? it's ironic because it's completely the opposite of Shang Chi where people get mad when they say it's for Asian americans when they are not one single thing.

I'll take Ronan over turd and nipples jokes or literally transforming Drax into a walking joke ( it worked on Infinity war but not there ) I'll take heroes over villains any time.

What a lie... Quality is not dependent of villains. GOTG is way better than the second film, it's not even close, there is Iron-man 1 as well with an average villain.

Liking something MORE, it's not being contrarian, he is an action guy, he loved MOS because the action, so it makes sense he liked Shang Chi as well because of it. It's not like he goes to trash the popular films or overpraise every trash movie. It's not the first or last ""critic""" to be like that, I argue most of them are like that.

It's too hard to accept that he liked it a lot? and judging the legs, he is not the only one. -
I mean do you really expect the movie to be good? RE has a horrible track record with both movie and animation. I do liked the last series because Milla kicking ass but this looks dull and it's not like the director gives me hope... I hope for the best but I don't expect too much.

What is so different than source material people getting mad in any other movie? I saw Dune fans getting mad that they said Zendaya was going to a main character in the sequel when she is not that important on the books. It does look ehh from pictures alone and neither of them look like the characters, it's more jarring when they are using the entire roster of main characters in the movie.

I liked Empire as well, this forum flip flops every week so I do get why he gets annoyed.
