Little Women opened very late in Indonesia, so getting 100k admission is actually OK.

Fantasy Island's actual OW number in Indonesia is better than the estimate.
311k actual admission vs 289k estimated.
The Cinepoint Flash score (7/10) is not good though, so legs will be short.
Cinepoint Flash is exit polling that I conducted through this app (Cinepoint), from actual moviegoers fresh out of their respective showings.
If you ask why I ask for phone number when using Cinepoint, this is why. All rating submissions are verified, no trolls.

A slow start to 2020.
BIRDS OF PREY was supposed to be a big hit, but turned out the the first DC adaptation movie to open less than 1 million admission since 2013.
Oh well. (Looks like it's dropping fast, too).

About 12 hours ago I was thinking it would finish $97M DOM, $218M global.
Now I think it's generous.
Maybe it's my 5/10 rating of the movie talking.

Last weekend's top 4:
Details for SW9:
That's slightly lower than SW8's OW ($3.1m). Also, @newbie BO buff is worried that SW9 will not have better legs, so its total will be less than SW8's $5.2m. Which means it will be outgrossed by the local movie that is currently at #2 and very likely by the one at #4 as well. So yeah, not very good but kinda expected.
TBH I don't think TROS will hit $5M. The drop was atrocious. Very visible even without reading the actual numbers.

Looks like the last $10m+ of 2019. Unless SW9 surprises. But very unlikely.
Absolutely agree.
The Last Jedi only did a little over $5M, with a truly awful 1.66x multiplier as well.
Breaking $6M (due to organic growth) is the best that TROS could hope for.
Local biggies Habibie & Ainun 3 and Imperfect will kill it.

In just three days of play, Jumanji: The Next Level will match or surpass the 5-day OW of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Looks like the full 5-day OW will be at the high end of my projection ($6M+).
Around 1,100 screens are given to Jumanji, from a total of 1,979.

By my estimate, after two days Jumanji: The Next Level should be around $2.5M.

Short comment:
#JumanjiTheNextLevel starts off leisurely but then really hits its stride and has maximum fun with its signature switcheroo hijinx. Additional characters make the channelings all the more enjoyable. Still a family-friendly crowdpleaser!Early outlook:
My (super duper) early outlook for
#JumanjiTheNextLevel Indonesia OW: $5.54-6.33M gross 1.65-1.89M admission Will try to properly look at tomorrow's situation and update this projection. Could swing both ways.Anyway, Jumanji 2017's OW ($3.4M) is basically toast.

Jumanji: The Next Level opens today.
After a rather slow start, ticket sales have really picked up today, best seats in prime time is now hard find. My team member attended a special screening last night, looks to be another crowdpleaser. Screening has tighter security than usual, phones secured etc.
I will see it in a few hours time, along with Cinépolis official launch in Indonesia.

Damn, that’s a great hold for Indonesia after such a big OW.
Yes, Hollywood tentpoles usually drop 60% (based on daily average) on the second week, so 45% is beyond awesome.
This looks to be taking its toll on Jumanji though.

Unfortunately, screens are practically nonexistent now, crushed by local blockbuster Milea: Suara Dari Dilan. This movie passed 2M admission on Tue, heading for the vicinity 3M by this weekend or shortly after.
Its predecessor, Dilan 1991, once held the opening day record for Indonesia, beating Avengers: Infinity War. I tweeted about it and got quoted by Deadline.
