Reed fucked up worse than Star Lord ever did. Prove me wrong. Reed could’ve just stfu and Wanda is gone but was stupid enough to speak (ironic for the smartest man alive) as Star Lord had a moment of weakness. -
To add on, I think starting at 3 pm especially for geek based movies will cause a bigger frontloaded multiple to the data. I expect 5-6.5x multiples to be the norm for CBMs with a 3 pm start.

I don’t see how it goes below a 2x multiple. 2.25-2.3 sure and that’s the likely range but not under 2.

This (Avatar 2 teaser) was the only thing to get any reaction at my Multiverse of Madness showing Friday. I feel pretty confident in at least 600m domestic for this, which should win the year.

I mean I think the moment in WV where Maria gives her a pass for her actions is still BS but it’s clear Wanda doing this makes sense given her struggling mental health (tbh actually acknowledging it in later stuff would’ve been a cool angle like Peter’s obvious PTSD being reduced to I can’t be Tony). Doesn’t excuse her actions in both movies though but it’s clear she needs help.

Top Gun - $100m (dat PR fudge baybee) JWD - $210m Lightyear - $80m-$90m (Yes views are great but it give me Detective Pikachu/Lego Batman vibes but on a bigger scale as I think handful of people view the concept as a meme) Minions - $70m-$80m Thor - $180m Black Adam - $70m Panther - $215m (pretty sure outside of the Avengers movie and NWH, this has had far more cultural impact than any other Marvel movie especially with the GA). Dominion sure, Lightyear no idea but doubt it ($270m-$285m seems right). Sonic 2 kind of taken away some of my confidence in action heavy animation.

Yes it’s not just a Strange sequel but 190m-200m+ for the next multiverse joint is still great. I’m not sure what you’re getting at, just because NWH did big doesn’t mean especially for very obvious reasons it was going to do exactly the same.
