May pre actuals predicts:
Two Lonely Bounty Hunters breaks The Number One Dime’s animation opening weekend record due to lack of substantial fare
The Drowsy Chaperone legs it to $100M
Call of Duty 2 has a slight increase to a $65M/$180M run
Gold Diggers does around Cabana Boys numbers since lack of comedy
In Yhe Valley does what Torrential did in Y2.
Okay so we now know that it seems Pikachu is playing like a family film and Marcus being a no show for it. I can’t cover the biggest cinematic event ever/aka Endgame killer and you will have to settle for the minuscule Endgame scraps*
*the asterisk means it’s a joke otherwise I’ll trigger MCU fans.
You can also pull a BH2 @cookie and open the weekend before/after Spark. Though you can have March as I’m considering April or a Summer release for Music In Me depending on how Splatoon does.

Critic leaker YenSid, has found out some juicy details on the next trailers from Endless Entertainment. Reports says a Blue and Gold 2 Teaser is attached to Static Shock, Mario with Squirrel Girl and last but not least Tintin 2 with Spark: A Hero’s Promise. The trailer for the latter is expected sometime next week.
On a side note I’m trying to figure out my animation schedule Y6. I plan on doing The Music In Me, Pigeon 2, and Mario. Originally, TMIM would open in March, Pigeon 2 in June and Mario in November but now I’m thinking of moving TMIM to June, Pigeon 2 to September-October (like Scrooge 0.5/2.5 was) and keep Mario where it is.
Mid April can work too @cookie, that way Scrooge 3 opens in that March-May timeframe.
You wouldn’t deal with the problem of being in the middle of TUSG and Pok3mon, no worries about the holiday family saturation either. And with ME2 and BAG2, I’d imagine it would be good counterprogramming.
That why I split Endless Entertainment and Endless Animation. That and in my mind, a brand name helps box office, like Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney, Illumination etc.
Cookie does it well
I do it mainly cause I like it and it makes it seem like more of a movie studio in my mind.
I imagine Endless Entertainment handles tentpole.
Endless Animation being a brand/label really helps (in my mind at least for box office)
Infinite Studios was supposed to be my Touchstone Pictures and most of my R rated fair but lately I’ve been using it for fillers but that’ll change too.
I got shafted Y5, just let me have Y6.
BTW I’m cool with moving Phoenix but an animated film is open first week of November in IMAX be it Mario or Pigeon 2.
