IMAX schedule for Endless:
Blue and Gold 2: Memorial Day weekend
Mario: Early November
Phoenix: Mid November
Tintin 2 (limited): December
Also @Spaghetti I am perfectly fine with the IMAX opening calendar on the 14th.
I think if I did IMAX it’s going to be
Blue and Gold 2
The Phoenix Saga or my Boden/Fleck film (depends on passion as tbh I don’t think I am ready to juggle 3)
Mario
Tintin 2 (limited release)
Sounds good but question what if you want limited IMAX. Say you want to open a film in IMAX but only a few screens, is it okay for someone else to claim the majority?
The two have some similarities in Chalamet’s character. I’ll just leave it that and have you find out later.
I do have a pretty good cold open in mind though. I’d DM if anyone is intrigued.
Also yay for GLC. I’m so happy it is doing well, and I think it may reach $300M even with 2LBH.
On another note: I’ve got to say I’ve learned a lot regarding reviews for it and will try to improve for the sequels
@cayommagazine
In addition to the GLC announcements this morning, it seems that Timothee Chalamet is playing an original character instead of Guy Gardner. His character is still a main character as well as one of the main antagonists being a Red Lantern Corps. Stanton says both Bex Taylor-Klaus’ performance as Sunn from The Scavenger Wars II and Olivia Cooke’s Xerrave are inspirations for this character.
April Predictions:
VeggieTales and Miserable Fans open between $20M-$25M
Birds does as expected
Steel Streaks opens to $40M and has godlike legs
Best Friends opens to the mid $10Ms and legs it to $60M
Green Lantern Corps opens over $100M as the first big tentpole of the year.
I agree.
I meant as in at my theater, again it all depends. But as it stands now most of the $100M openers at my theaters start off at about 50 tickets so that’s PikaPika goal.
