  1. Why should Animated films be limited just for children. I have no problem with Illumination but is it hard to ask for some appeal for both kids and adults.
  2. No disrespect to Illumination fans but both of their films last year: Pets and Sing felt like more impressive runs. DM3 felt like one of the most uneventful $1B run in my opinion.
  3. It's a shame more quality animated movies make less than most of Illumination.
  4. Kingsman: The Golden Circle North Shore Cinema (9/22/17: 4 days before previews, 5 days before release) 7:00 - 18/301 Ultrascreen 10:10 - 8/301 Ultrascreen Running about 37% ahead of Apes at the same time.
  5. Some tweets from the premiere. Seems that it's fun but not as good as the previous two Lego movies. 65%-78% on RT is likely.
  6. As long as Ninjago does $100M domestic, it's good for WAG and the LCU, which makes me happy.
  7. It'd be something if Kingsman, Ninjago, and IT all did $40M+ on the September 22nd weekend.
  8. One movie, a tv show, a bestseller, and a sequel in development makes a franchise though.
  9. Avengers 4 no matter what will be massively frontloaded. Aladdin can do $400M+ but it has competition. It has Minecraft on OW, Pets and an X Men movie the next weekend, and a DCEU movie the week after next. Toy Story 4 to many seems like an unnecessary sequel given the end of TS3. Not to mention there's competition from TF6 and CNV the next weekend and then Homecoming 2. I'll give you Lion King though.
  10. People at my school also loved The Revenant as well. Get Out and IT are also among favorites.
  11. Zootopia > all WDAS 2010 movies. But I agree with you. I also agree with you.
  12. If in the future Disney wants a franchise, they could perhaps make a remake of Treasure Planet or Atlantis and improve on those movies, perhaps a Pirates like tone, and give them great marketing
