    Apes and Logan are in my top 2 of the year. Cure for Wellness is in the top 5, and apart from Lego Batman, Fox made the best animated films this year.

    There's some movies I thoroughly enjoyed this year that were deemed not as good as the original or past entries like Lego Batman and Guardians 2. As long as Kingsman 2 is as fun as the first, I'm happy.

    Boss Baby was a good movie.

    To be fair, I think Boss Baby had some adult appeal. Lot of people thought Trump and Alec Baldwin.

    True. As bad as Minions or Hop, Illumination's worst films were, Emoji was an even more obvious cash grab with less entertainment.

    DM3's run is kind of like Dory to me. Both made $1B but their runs (apart from Dory's domestic) were kind of uneventful. They just were there. Sure $1B is a major accomplishment especially for animated films but it's less impressive then say Minions run, Frozen's run, or even Zootopia's run.
