  1. It'll be funny when WB's fall releases break out just to see reactions (i.e. IT does $200M+, Ninjago and Blade Runner does $150M+.).
  2. Considering the amount of family movies Cena is doing this year (Daddy's Home 2 and Ferdinand) and that Shazam could be the DCEUs Spider-Man in terms of family appeal, Cena would be the perfect fit.
  3. I did notice in some theaters in Wisconsin like Bistroplex, IT is pacing the same as Homecoming and Wonder Woman.
  4. Look I know Han fucked up with that Wonder Woman prediction but he has no hate for WB unlike Kevin and he is definitely not a fanboy, just let him be.
  5. Marcus Palace, the most visited theater in Wisconsin, seems to be having good presales for IT.
  6. IT North Shore Cinema (9/7/17: 3 days before previews, 4 days before release) 7:00 - 73/301 Ultrascreen 10:00 - 18/301 Ultrascreen 12:00 - 7/144 98/746 - 13.1% of tickets sold IT South Shore Cinema (2nd Most Popular Theater in Wisconsin) (9/7/17: 3 days before previews, 4 days before release) 7:00 - 81/170 Superscreen 10:00 - 47/170 Superscreen 12:00 - 6/130 134/470 - 28.5% of tickets sold
  7. I would say $40M/$115M for Nun. I also think The Nun if good will outgross the other "horror" movie on OW and DOM: HT3.
  8. A- to A+ Blade Runner 2049 Apes Logan Get Out Baby Driver Dunkirk John Wick 2 It Comes At Night Cure for Wellness Colossal Guardians 2 The Wall Wonder Woman Lost City of Z Split IT Lego Batman Thor: Ragnarok B- to B+ Kingsman 2 Gifted The Beguiled Power Rangers Spider-Man: Homecoming Valerian Kong Captain Underpants Raw The Boss Baby Geostorm C- to C+ Fate of The Furious Alien: Covenant Hitman's Bodyguard Despicable M3 Ghost In The Shell Dog's Purpose Smurfs: The Lost Village The Lego Ninjago Movie Monster Trucks D- to D+ Beauty and the Beast Bad Moms Christmas Life King Arthur Transformers The Last Knight The Emoji Movie The Mummy
  9. I have to say I'm really impressed with Wonder Woman's total and legs. It's also impressive that it's in the top 5 CBMs while having the possibility of a 4x multiplier. This is in a way the SM1 of the 2010s for CBMS. No CBM will ever pull those types of legs (baring Panther manages to recreate the same feeling). I think WW2 is doing $1B+.
  10. IT North Shore Cinema (9/7/17: 5 days before release) 7:00 - 52/301 Ultrascreen 10:00 - 11/301 Ultrascreen 12:00 - 7/144 70/746 - 9.3% of tickets sold Outpacing Dunkirk and Apes
  11. It's now apparent that IT is selling like a CBM at my theater.
  12. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/reviews/It-378593 The first review is up surprisingly early from THR. John Defore says IT is increasingly scary by the minute and the acting was top notch.
  13. I think Coco is going sub $200M now. There's too much competition and not enough advertising. Even the Frozen short is getting more ads around Disney's Theme Parks.
  14. I think not only Cars 2 hurt Cars 3 but Planes and Planes 2 as well. Some People may not have seen them but they knew of their existence and were sick of the talking vehicle shtick. Disneytoon will likely take over the Cars universe now but Space will likely do Smurfs numbers ($12M/$45M).
