These numbers are good but it would have done much better (+550M WW) if the movie was actually any good. Missed opportunity

My Top 10:
1. The Incredibles 2 --> 505M
2. Avengers: Infinity War --> 480M
3. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom --> 465M
4. Han Solo --> 375M
5. Aquaman --> 325M
6. Deadpool 2 --> 315M
7. Mary Poppins Returns --> 305M

I like horror movies but I am never exited from them and rarely watch any on theaters and I have to admit that i'm so hyped for this movie, looks so good.
-
I agree that Apes deserved better at the box office and it feels like an Star Trek Beyond but fortunately with much better OS numbers, as for SMH the drop is bad but it can still recover a bit and have "nice" late legs. Wonder Woman is the biggest surprise of the year and it deserves everything it is making, I had been waiting for a WW movie for too long.

I don't really comment a lot but I love these forums, I really like to follow Box Office numbers closely and watch people's impression. It is stupid to be complaining about something that you could be avoiding pretty easy.

Pretty excited for this, has a lot of potential. The original is excellent

I thought my WW prediction was super optimistic (I had it at 355M), looks like I was wrong, It'll be making more.
It is a bit sad that no animated movie is going to hit the 300M this year, but to be honest they don't deserve that mark (maybe LEGO Batman), let's see if Coco is good.

Wonder Woman was so good, best DCEU film for sure:
1. Wonder Woman
2. Man of Steel
3. Batman vs Superman
4. Suicide Squad
Thinking it will do 99,982,000 for the weekend

Really good for B&TB, the fact that a musical is doing +500M DOM is impressive. Disney should reconsider on making Mulan a musical.

Huge March, everything overperformed except Power Rangers and GitS. I think April will be weaker than expected and then summer will be huge again.
-
Wow, great trailer. Thinking this can do something like 55M OW, 150M DOM if reviews are nice.
-
My personal rank for Disney Live-Action Adaptations:
1. Beauty and the Beast
2. The Jungle Book
3. Cinderella
4. Maleficent
5. Alice in Wonderland
6. Oz: The Great and Powerful
So excited for 'Mulan', 'Aladdin' and 'The Lion King', also a Little Mermaid live action movie could do +400M as well, IMO.
-
Amazing for 'Beauty and the Beast', it'll hit 155-170M OW and should close around 430-500M DOM. This is absolutely going to be in #1 spot until 'Star Wars'.
Such a great March: Logan (88M/225M), 'Kong: Skull Island' (61M/160M), 'B&TB' (160M/475M). I think either 'Power Rangers' or 'GiTS' will bomb, or maybe both...
-
No Disney brand in it = bomb
-
I'm sorry but this looks like a bomb IMO. Opening the week after 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2' is really going to hurt it, not that it would have break out in other spot but I see 17M/45M

I really want this universe to continue, so I hope that this movie doesn't bomb. 40M/120M should be good for it, not excellent but they will continue with these movies.

LEGO Batman under expectations but still solid (55-60M), I think that families are holding their money for 'Beauty and the Beast'

Just now, WrathOfHan said:
Monster Trucks made exactly 0.00M in previews
Yeah just checked, it doesn't have previews, that means they are confident
-
What about 'Monster Trucks'? Episode VII did 57M previews, let's see if it can beat that mark.
-
Will 'Monster Truck' take #1 spot next weekend?
-
1. Star Wars: Episode VIII: 875.000.000
2. The Beauty and the Beast: 514.000.000
3. Justice League: 420.000.000 (44% on RottenTomatoes)
4. Guardians of the Galaxy. Vol 2: 405.000.000
5. Wonder Woman: 355.000.000 (First fresh DCEU film)
6. Despicable Me 3: 301.000.000
7. Thor: Ragnarok: 286.000.000
8. The LEGO Batman Movie: 262.000.000
9. Spider-Man Homecoming: 259.000.000 (people are really overestimating this, TASM2 did 202M)
10. War for the Planet of the Apes: 230.000.000
11. The Fate of the Furious: 225.000.000 (970M WW)
12. Blade Runner 2049: 221.000.000
13. Dunkirk: 217.000.000
14. Logan: 181.000.000
15. Kong: Skull Island: 177.000.000
16. Kingsman: The Golden Circle: 166.000.000

I think that is really good for 'Passengers'!!
-
So sad that 'Sing' is going to beat 'Moana' , on the other hand the record for a movie that never hit #1 will go down!!

I think this is a good move but it will still flop tremendously, this feels like another 'King Arthur' and I liked that movie. Honestly I don't understand why they keep producing these remakes/Live Action films, I mean only the Disney ones really break out. The last non Disney remake/live action that didn't bomb hard was 'The Legend of Tarzan' with 386M ant that was still considered a bad result because of the budget.
