I haven't seen Scream 4 in nearly a decade, but I do remember it looking terrible. We'll see how I feel now whenever I rewatch it before the new one.

I'm sure they'll also be down for 20 minutes of Kingo laying pipe from the director of Nomadland and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

With how these things usually go I see it ending up in the 40s at some point.

I can't say whether or not making an Eternals movie was a good or bad idea, I know absolutely nothing about them, but are these thoughts forming now just because it seems like the movie appears to have failed? I'm sure there must've been some way to get a functioning movie out of them, like they have for some other characters. The problem I can tell from the outset though is something like Guardians of the Galaxy is a lot easier for a newbie like me to pinpoint who they are wia their distinct looks, while the Eternals look astoundingly dull and same-y with their costumes. Is there something about this property that doesn't work for film, or did they just not get it right here?

Could be one of those annoying ones that just barely misses out on a certified fresh. Sadly I still have another two weeks to go before it's released here.

I will watch Shang-Chi whenever it hits VOD, I hope I'll enjoy it. I was enjoying WandaVision for a solid three episodes until a certain thing happened and it became too much of an overbearing MCU movie, but overall it's the strongest I've seen from the MCU this year. F&WS was just miserable (and I only remembered it existed right this second), Loki was alright for a while but it's when I really started to catch on how stale and limited the shows seem to be. That whole tv-show side of things is so not working for me right now, but yeah Hawkeye at least has the Christmas theme and they've also made sure to lessen the blow of Renner as much as possible by throwing Steinfeld, Farmiga and Pugh at me. It might be a nice thing to have over the winter.

I do gotta say, while I'm not the biggest MCU fan to begin with and I haven't seen Shang-Chi yet, the MCU this year has been absolutely miserable for me. NWH does not look like it'll help (mostly based on the previous two Spidey films), no clue about Hawkeye other than Renner and the character sucks, and Eternals... well we'll see about that.

Nearly half the fresh reviews with a rating has it at a mere 6/10 so far. The number of critics who are actually enthusiastic about the film is pretty damn low, it would have to pull some wonders to hold a 60%+ over the next 250+ reviews.

The annoying part about this movie is I'm not particularly looking forward to it, it doesn't look good... but damn it I'm probably seeing it in a theater, which I haven't for any of the other Marvel films this year (will be same with Eternals).
