The 2 items justifying the kangaroo court and senate hearing scenes are comically weak, I cant believe this wasn't handled at the script stage. The last 40 minutes really drags as a result.
I think it was the best part of the movie. And RDJ character just blossoms in these last 40 minutes.

Oppenheimer making $75M+ after the struggles for the adult drama in recent years goes to show that type of movie isn't dead yet, it just takes a little something extra exciting to get folks on board with them.
So excited for "Killers of the Flower Moon.

Broccolis are gonna be next-level stupid if they don't land him for Bond after this.
And they definitely are gonna be next-level stupid.

5. I have no clue how this movie will play with general audiences. It’s definitely not a summer popcorn movie. I could see it having very short legs if people get bored with 3 hours of no action.
Yeah, there's no action, but it has pretty fast pace, sometimes very similar to Social Network.

In #Spain’s #BoxOffice, the #Barbenheimer mania is also in full swing, with #Barbie owning the local market with SPECTACULAR 2M THU Opening Day, only under #Mario’s 2.2M in 2023, while #ChristopherNolan’s #Oppenheimer, opening on the same day in Spain grossed still solid 750k. pic.twitter.com/tUuhhk95xe

Kind of feels like it's a film that the general public would not like tbh. Too heavy.
let's see, it's Nolan anyway. He's able to make WW2 movie which was able gathering 525$ mln worldwide. So, I won't be surprised if Oppenheimer will repeat this result. Even with 3 hours runtime.

RIP to all the extras
Well, anyway it's full of vfx, as always. But it would be interesting to read about Dneg's work on this.

I'm still waiting for critics and audience's reviews for making final decision.

Is this the first time we’ve had it in marketing pointing out that there’s only 2 weeks for PLF? Or do IMAX tweet this sort of thing regularly?
Cinemas really need to invest in more PLFs and I think that will (or should be) the main takeaway from this summer.
Wow. Definitely the best poster so far.

Bold move of them to release the trailer at 2am
Regardless it's a good trailer. Haven't seen Guardians 3 yet, so I'm hoping to see the trailer in theaters soon. I do believe that the IMAX trailer is still probably the best oneIt's good trailer, but it doesn't sell movie to wide audience.

Great job from Gunn, best MCU movie since, I don't know, first Black Panther, may be.
Also, my wow for Framestore and Weta.
