Dude, you want to close the franchise which has ~750 mln average box-office. I don't even talk about how merchandise and tv-shows are lucrative for the company. So here's only two options:
1) You're troll
2) You have a big problems with numbers and understanding how this business works.
both options are bad for you.

Nothing. The comment was more directed at all the Final Destinations,, Friday the 13ths and Screams of this world. I really dont need another horror reboot wave like in the late 2000s.
Well, good news: next projects of the New Line are "The Curse of La Llorona" and third Annabelle movie. In 2019 we're absolutely free of reboots.

On an unrelated note, I hope WB’s animation arm gets amped. Surprised even though it’s the second biggest studio, it’s behind Universal, Fox and even Sony when it comes to animation.
Especially when WarnerMedia has Looney Tunes and Cartoon Network.

Well I suspect real ASIB Sunday hold is better than Venom (because of older audience). So either ASIB was underestimated or Venom was overestimated.

A Star Is Born second weekend drop looking at just -34%
Especiallly with "Little Monsters" push and with pre-holiday Sunday in OW. If nothing extraordinary happens 170+ is locked.

It depends how strong "Venom" will stand against "Halloween".

Except literally no one is saying Venom's dropping well.
When you have 70 mln true opening week-end, 33-34 mln is not bad drop.

I didn't like Venom at all personally.
I'm also, but here's a week-end numbers thread, don't review's thread. And real numbers and facts should be all over the preferences.

Oof @Venom's drop. That's not going to go well sequel wise.
Avengers: -55,5%
AM&W: -61,6%
Incredibles 2: -56%
Venom would have 58-57% drop. So, What exactly did you want to say? Or Is this just pure trolling?

This year has been very good for WB and they've still got Fantastic Beasts, Aquaman and The Mule to go.
every year, except 2015, is very good for WB since 1999.

Still trying to figure out what was so special about Casey Affleck's performance. He was fine but nothing stellar in my opinion.
Scene in the police station - 100% Academy Award.

I find all statements about "bad actor" Gosling pretty funny.
Of course Ryan doesn't have high-level perfomance like Casey Affleck in the "Manchester by the Sea" or Michael Keaton in the "Spotlight" (I took this examples 'cause type of silent acting with subtle work with the character).
But he is decent actor.
"Bad acting"- this is a Channing Tatum area.

I haven't followed its BO. Is that a bad drop for Venom or is ASIB doing extremely good?
Everything is ok with Venom. 36-37 are still possible.
