Segments of the fanbase are not happy with the choices in TLJ but they will come out for Episode 9.
I hope after all the bitching they will have the decency not to show up lmao

I think the Issue in TLJ is the whole progressive-themed Casino plot ended up being the weakest part of the film, but not because of its politics though.
Even people who like this movie think it was too in your face, like the new Nostalgia Critic and Chris Stuckman review. I didn't really dislike it because of that,it was just a minor annoyance.

It wasn't... Especially the PT.
That centralization of power can lead to bad things, giving up freedom and values to feel more safe is subtle compared to...ooh rich people...BUT LOOK CLOSER FINN

That's a very fascinating subplot to the political complaints.
Canto bight made me miss the days of George Lucas subtlety.

SW9 isn't dropping much from TLJ.
Force Awakens ended on a OT character cliffhanger, unanswered mysteries and OT cast were all over the advertisements. IX doesn't have any of that. I think it will have some impact.

Sequel music suck because there's no original thought or imagery put into it to inspire the man

everyone give Rob your energy he's going in for the kill

I agree I haven't stopped thinking about this film.
I wish I could but I fell for the meme that you need to give it another shot and see it twice to enjoy it now it's burned into my brain forever can't forget it

We’re not talking about the same scene. Also, I’m not saying there are no problems with the film. What I am saying is that the scene I speak of is powerful enough for some viewers to overlook any perceived faults in the rest of the film.
Well that other scene is dumb as well for many reasons

Noo this can't be happening. It was supposed to drop more today.

rogue One had 30% two days after Christmas day, this has generally weaker legs + discounted tuesday so drop should be bigger, is this making sense?

Interesting that TLJ increased but Jumanji decreased. Wonder what it all means

there will definitely be people trashing Abrams and saying that Rian did a better job or would do a better job in episode IX.
doesn't mean they will be the same people tho.
me I don't think any of them did a good job especially with the world-building or writing, but I left the theater after TFA feeling meh , TLJ I was just angry.
-
Hm...so it's doing better worldwide than domestic BO, right?
>Overall overseas, Jedi‘s crystal foxes are running about 32% below The Force Awakens at the same point of play, and about 40% above Rogue One.
