I am excited for this but why does Jasmine look Indian? She wears Indian clothes. Feels weired. The story should have an Arabian look to it. Felt like I’m watching an Indian Aladin ....
Jafar is miscast . His voice and face lacks the malice of the one in the movie. It makes me wonder what they were thinking when casting him. At least his clothes look good.
Hollywood thinks all brown people look the same (Anglo people are like this too).

Far from Home I think is a sure thing compared to TS4.
I think it's unlikely that Far from Home reach $1 bi (it's not strong enough Domestically), I think it's going to stay at $300m-$320m Dom, and I do not think it makes $700m OS, CM had a much bigger hype in its favor because of pre Endgame Boost , TS4 is much more likely to reach $1 bi (Nostalgia will be big), TS4 can be the same size as Far From Home OS and stronger domestically.
And Far From Home is Sony, not Disney.

Dumbo breaking out doesn't mean that this won't be # 1 its OW. With the reactions it is getting and the way in which superhero films are seemingly unstoppable nowadays, I find it hard to believe that this won't be the top movie during its OW at least.
Dumbo probably does not reach $500m WW, I'm feeling it will be weak OS.

Black Panther did better than Aquaman in some countries, the big factor here is China where Aquaman did almost $300M alone
Because Black Panther had the best exchange rates of the year, (and Venom and Aquaman the worst, among all superhero movies of 2018), Difference in local currencies is even bigger.

No China, no 3D, and before this age of overwhelming superhero movie domination. Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and TDK still blow my mind in terms of box office accomplishments.
Yeah, but the exchange rates at that time were much, much, much better everywhere. this is a great advantage they had over the current films.

i'm sure bautista will be a great killer croc.
Suicide Squad is a team that has had several different members over the years, and this new movie will be all-new cast of characters and actors. apparently.
But Bautista could be Bane, for example.

When you search Shazam ... it's 50/50 at best.
It's not shocking, even if people spend nearly 5 billion over 6 films worldwide, bashing DC properties online gets you likes.
Maybe your twitter shows reactions from different people based on your historic or something, here I did not even see 1 negative reaction (I'm not exaggerating).
Box office pro twitter index.

There isn't any Latin American country bar Chile (maybe) where it isn't failing over 70% from OW. DBZ is always THAT frontloaded
DBSB fell from R$6.3m OW to R$3.2m second weekend in Brazil, less than 50%.

I think Aquaman will beat Justice League and become DC's biggest movie in Brazil (in local currency, not in dollar).
Also, The Nun made $25.6m in the OW (biggest ever for a terror film) also the biggest terror film all time in Brazil with $76m (5,254,570 admissions), .

Titans is great, one of the best Superhero tv shows of all time, Young Justice has returned and is phenomenal, DC Universe tv shows are all great so far.
And Swamp Thing probably will be the best comic book tv show this year, not even Watchmen will be on the same level.

CM can beat Aquaman because it is connected with AV4 and is clearly benefiting from it, with no connection to AV4 or release date near AV4 (that will help CM hype) ,CM would not have chance. however, it is still a bit more unlikely (Just a guess).

$170mn is *A BIG* difference
3/4 is not a big difference when you're comparing with the biggest CBM of all time domestic, now compare it with Ant Man or Captain America-first avenger.

Solid~$60mn less than The Force Awaken domestic returns from $935 million gross.
Black Panther domestic returns $385 million.
Well, using the same calculation as a2k, Black Panther global theatrical returns is around $625m.
Aquaman global theatrical returns will be 3/4 of the Black Panther, not bad, considering that more than half of Black Panther BO came from the domestic market ( biggest CBM all time domestic), i thought the difference would be bigger.

Shazam! | April 5, 2019 | 21st Most Profitable Film of 2019

I think you're confusing Aquaman with Captain Marvel (this one actually had a big boost because infinity war / endgame tie in).
If Justice League ( lowest grossing DCEU movie) had an impact on Aquaman he would have very strong openings and average/weak legs, and this did not happen (but with Captain Marvel this happened, no doubt about it).
