    I feel like Oceans will skew older and be a bit less frontloaded than Ghostbusters. I think high 40’s could happen.

    The preview number pretty much guarantees that Oceans opens above 40 million and most likely in the same range as Ghostbusters. I knew people were getting carried away with the sub 40 predictions.

    Fair point on Damon, I agree. I don’t think Cate Blanchett is an actual box office draw, though. Probably just Bullock and Hathaway (to a lesser extent) of the cast here.

    45 million would be excellent. Bullock is the only megastar here whereas the others had Clooney, Pitt, Damon and Julia Roberts.

    I saw this last summer at a test screening and it was fucking awesome. Might be my favorite shark movie since Jaws. I gotta say that I don’t feel like this trailer accurately represented the tone of the film. It’s definifely not Sharkado with a 150 million dollar budget. It’s more Deep Blue Sea than Sharkado.

    I don’t know... This was moved from September to summer which I take as a sign of confidence, and the trailer already has nearly 3 million views. I think this may not bomb?
