Wow, wondering could "Parasite" stretch to 40 million?

I just made a list of top 20 Highest Grossing Foreign Films that were nominated in any of the Academy Award categories. I put my own estimate for "Parasite" as of this sunday. It's a good song, guys. Come on now. I was really pissed when they announced her as a singer of the next Bond theme but this is way better than Sam Smith's, and pretty much everything else besides "Skyfall" from last 20 years.

Increasing number of theaters doesn't guarantee the same average it had while it was playing on 1060. I would love to see those numbers, but until then I'm staying with my 3-4 million $ 3 day weekend. I want this film to have even more success, but I always think about the factor that it's out on DVD/BluRey as well.

The official worldwide numbers on comScore are $175.4mn. I suppose that's till Sunday. If so, it has crossed $180mn easily. Though let's see if that is updated next Sunday.
Edit: Yes that's official update. Expecting $182mn by Thursday globally.
Best case scenario, USA $6.5-7mn weekend, Japan could bring $3mn FSS, UK and Europe most likely $3.5mn and Rest of World bringing $3-4mn. $200mn by Sunday is possibility.
6.5-7 million $ weekend in US is out of reach. Anywhere between 3 and 4 million 3 day, and 3.5-4.8 4 day is maximum, and it's still great. I would say 185-190 million $ ww by monday would be realistic.

What happened to Hustlers?
-
The film is getting expanded to 2,300+ theaters next weekend.

I would love for Americans to keep on watching it in theaters, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a short lived Oscar effect. Hoping for top 10 next weekend with 2-3 million and after that 30-40% weekend drops, because the film is already out everywhere. But when it’s all said and done in the States, 44-45 million $ should be realistic.
So, with Japan still going strong and hopefully UK, now that I put the numbers together, 200 million globally shouldn’t be that hard to achieve.
-
I would like to think that 50 million in US is locked, but remember, film is already out on DVD/BluRey and all digital platforms. I can see it grossing 2-3 million next weekend, depending on expansion and then dropping slowly. My predicted US total is around 44 million $. WW... Hmmm... Japan seems to be helping a lot, and UK - I have no idea how will it play there. It shouldn’t gross under 185-190 million $ internationally.

Hopefully film will enter top 10 on Box Office next weekend!

Total definitely over "Joker's" opening. I don't think it will blow us away but 120-140 million total is realistic.

Thank you for respecting Universal/Blumhouse, but also giving us some insight.
My question would just be - did Jamie Lee deliver a great role once again or is her timing less in this one?

I am going to say that this one will open with 40-50 million $, depending on reviews and the promo.
-
I knew Rhythm Section is going to bomb but not as hard as this...
-
I think that Parasite should make anywhere between 1.5-2 million $ this weekend.
-
I think 46 million opening for Mulan is a bit low.

I guess, 55 million in the US is somewhat a guarantee. So I assume the ww total will be 240-250 million $ when it’s all said and done.
