Shazam was the last profitable dceu movie and Shazam 2 will likely be the next profitable dceu movie
It was also a lot better than black adam.. all these people batting for BA is embarrassing.. they will look back at this with there head in there hands lol

A great Superman movie can be collosal no matter his opponent. This is why they should really be putting their focus on making a great Superman movie before clashing him with BA.
Which is what I think they are doing especially after seeing these box office numbers. Superman doesn’t need any help at all.. it’s the other way round

Of course they didn't. Black Adam is DC.
So what’s a “not normal marvel fan”? Doesn’t that mean they don’t care about marvel vs dc?
You still haven’t given your prediction yet

How huge will the walk ups be and how huge will the review bump be. Also don't movies with heavy urban appeal normally see huge sales in it's final week? WK will have a huge turnout from the older African American audience who are not normal marvel fans. With Friday being a holiday this could be big.
The “not normal marvel fans” didn’t show up for Black Adam.. But let’s say you’re right what number OW since you’re confident?

We all know the movie isn’t making money, what’s trolling is asking why he’s doing what he’s doing to promote his movie when it’s obvious to everyone why he does what he does.
Either way, post whatever you want, I’m not a mod and don’t care, I’ll just ignore you.
It’s a good thing you aren’t you don’t even know what trolling is lol. I wasn’t asking for your input you responded to me. You’ve already said you won’t anymore but immediately responded to me so hopefully this time you stick to it.

I mean he got paid over 20m for the movie so I’d say he did make money, and it’s obvious you’re just trolling anyways so I won’t bother responding to you anymore. If you really don’t understand why he does what he does there’s no helping you.
Me saying the movie isn’t going to make money isn’t trolling it’s reality. He won’t get another deal like that if he gets a sequel.. but I’m glad your happy he made his money because that’s what really matters

Because that’s part of his job? He’s promoting a movie he stars and produces and wants to see succeed. Actors promote their movies and hype up how they’re doing all the time. Why is it when Dwayne does it that everybody goes crazy and mocks him and only him?
And it’s not like this is some Skyscraper-level bomb. This is likely going to be in the top 15 for the year and those numbers, at least domestically, look good on paper on the average Twitter user. Only box office nerds and weirdo fanboys think this film is bombing like crazy. And even then, this isn’t some Ishtar-level failure.
There’s promoting and there’s gloating. He should have just said go see my movie its number one but go and help it get to this level.. he’s making people who liked it think they don’t need to see it again because it’s doing so well lol

I mean it’s pretty obvious why he does this stuff, for money. His production company is in on the movie and he wants to see his movie flourish and build out from there, he’ll just make more money. This isn’t rocket science folks.
He’s not making any money on this though is he so I guess it’s not that simple is it lol

lmao I don’t know why Dwayne is batting so hard for a film that will be lucky to make 1 dollar profit.. drawing even more attention to a flop isn’t really ideal. Rolling out the covid carpet of excuses is also nonsensical after we’ve had Top Gun Maverick glide to an easy 700M DOM alone with older audiences.

Close to 30m views on main channel after full 3 days, on par with full trailer of TGM and JWD at their point of release I believe.
Yet TGM did nearly half a billion more than JWD.. views don’t mean different people. It depends on the movie.. if avatar is going to have a chance at beating TGM it needs to make audiences want to see it again and again.

WB should drop the Oceans prequel and get George and Julia back
That’s the first I’ve heard of this.. they really getting box office bomb Margot Robbie to lead?

After Sony won biggest movie last year there’s a real chance Paramount might win this year. I think we can safely say Black Panther won’t beat Top Gun Maverick.. Disney’s only hope is a Fox movie.

That’s the smell of a good hold

Everyone according to who? The character you are talking about is someone general audiences dont really give a shit. His inability to connect along with other big names is obe of the main reasons the dceu failed.
You seriously believe some fabs on twitter represent "everypne"?
I stopped reading after you said audiences don’t give a shit about ********.. you can’t say that with a straight face lol

BoxOfficePro long range forecasts have this movies DOM almost cut in half from the first

BA's not a flop. nobody had ever heard of the character before a year or two ago. how many characters do between $350M-$400M+ WW that nobody ever heard of post-covid? it's gonna do Eternals numbers.
You were careful with your wording there but if it was your 200M you wouldn’t be happy lol

I dunno, Nolan does seem to have developed quite the ego (see: the reports of the fallout between him and WB over Tenet's release) nor do I imagine IMAX would want to lose that special partnership they have, so we shall see.
Yeah all of a sudden Nolan has developed an ego.. sounds legit /s

CS isn’t really polling how good a movie is.. it’s polling how good a movies marketing was in targeting there target audience.

What exactly constituted giving this movie a $200m budget in the first place?
Old management (who are now fired) and stupidity. WB learned an expensive lesson.. the new management at least recognise what is actually worth spending money on. Let’s see if they actually deliver though.

They established nothing. As with most DC films. There is no hook.
They established the rock is Black Adam and more importantly the character everyone was waiting to see is back at least.
