  1. when they are neither too high nor too low, they are boring.
  2. With EG breaching Avatar, SM-FFH doing a default 1.1B, Aladdin in its late late legs and TLK not going to 2Bn. Boring times ahead till Frozen 2 now.
  3. 4. We have normally $3 ticket in multiplexes. The IMAX range from $6-$20. I do think $3 is still expensive, as $10 for a State's person is less than hourly wage rate. $3 in India is more like 3 hours of work for a person earning mid level salary. While there are people in lower end getting $3 for full day.
  5. Incredibles 2 Day 33 - $3.4mn (added $67mn post that) TS4 Day 33 - $3.3mn Now that's despite TS 4 being barely 60% of I2 in OW and 75% on 1st Tuesday. That said, shall atleast do $67mn from here (that would be $450mn) but obviously it shall do more to $450-465mn closing. In terms of admits TS4 should be around 25-30% more than TS3.
  6. Budget was ₹90cr after UK Subsidy but without SRK remurenation as he was producer. P&A was handled by ₹52cr worth brand tie-ins. The distribution rights were sold at ₹77cr, Distributor made around ₹90cr from theatrical share. Red Chillies/SRK made another ₹50cr from ancillaries rights. So in the end ₹35cr Approx profit to Red Chillies.
  7. I liked someone said few weeks back, Tuesday is OD for many.
  8. I would give more credit to the film. OW was straight out disaspointing.
  9. There is very little scope to rise at the limited screenings it is on.

  11. Well. Well. Well. What did I said.
  12. EG did 20mn admissions when top Bollywood films are doing 35-40mn. Titanic did when Top Bollywood films were doing 100mn. Besides I never claimed EG bigger than Titanic. Titanic is GOAT. Biggest ever.
  13. Fine @Brainbug I can let you have this one. Be happy.
  14. *Insert "Oh shit. Here we go again" meme*
  15. @titanic2187 this is the curse of ER. How much did the movie-going changed in last year? Just an year difference and with A:IW ER, EG would not only saved this long Chase but also significant lead.
  16. Or just Infinity War Exchange rates 😛 iirc ER rose 6-7% since IW. China itself would be +35mn. The basic math gives 2.94 Bn at Infinity War ER.
