I’m with Venom, final PS some 145-175M. ~50% above TFA.
And FWIW I think it will still play more MCU than SW on Sat+Sun. The “+” on that BOP prediction was a good hedge.
The thing with the "playing like an SW film" argument is that even with the presale multiplier of TFA, it would still cross 300 million, and SW films have holiday-boosted presales which would obviously make the PSm lower than a Marvel film. Maybe it won't hit 300 million, but that won't be because it "played like an SW film", it'll be because presales were so large that all comps broke down.

Tbh we are all hoping it skips 1 iron law and jumps to the next one 357m and change is what we want
407m is the only number that will satisfy me!

Also, above 50% on MT for first time in a long time last update. 5 more hours to go, I don’t think it will even dip below on discount Tuesday
Easter Monday is pretty inflated right? So it could actually increase tomorrow.

IW China was $65mn. USA $60mn. It is surprising.
Are you sure about the $60 million USA figure? Because WSJ reported on the Friday before release that it was $50 million, and 20% is really small of a release week bump.

Domestic: $299,999,999
Overseas: $700,000,000
Worldwide: $999,999,999
China: 1,878,576,000.00 yuan
My honest prediction would probably be higher than this but I really don't wanna jinx it.

any guess about china total ps ? 95 maybe ?
Higher unless T-1 gets no bump at all

Endgame final presales > Captain Marvel OW. Even with the 120 million lower bound I think it'll happen.

According to Deadline sources, before Avengers: Endgame even flickers one image on a movie screen ahead of its Thursday night previews nationwide, advance domestic ticket sales for the Russo Brothers-directed Marvel sequel are estimated to be north of $120M with some figuring they’re as high as $140M. These figures do not come from Disney.
Ok, I didn't think it would already be at 120-140 million. I thought that would be the final numbers. That's ridiculous to be that high even before release week presales.

Thing is Previews look to be going that high, but I wanna still balance 307.
Whats the significance of 307?

Think that's verging on the meme territory myself.
(He said with love and affection. )
Ha, you think that's a meme? The real meme is people doubting that Endgame will make $330 million in PREVIEWS

I want it all. $70m previews + $250m FSS.
Honestly...I wouldn't say that's out of the question. I think it will be well below that but you never know

Updated prediction
Previews: $69mn
Friday: $76mn
Saturday: $89mn
Sunday: $73mn
Total: $307mn
Previews too high and FSS too low imo, Sat especially will be gigantic

EG - 38.9m

JW3 - 418k
Better than I expected, 50 million will happen easily

If memory serves correctly, it’s the biggest hour since day 3 of presales.
I think yesterday 10 and 11 were around 3200-3300 or so, but today's night sales should easily smash that.

Over 2600 in fact. 4 subset lines for EG per update.
Oh shoot forgot about that. And 8:00 is bigger than yesterday midnight which is ridiculous

Endgame at 8:00 - April 21 (1472)
Endgame at 8:00 - April 22 (10569)
HUGE pickup this hour
Passed 2000 tickets sold in one hour at just 8:00, and it'll keep picking up probably till 10 or 11. Amazing.

None and it didn't have any effect on the Sundays of Avengers, IM3, AOU or CW
This isn't exactly the finale of MASH.
Ok that's what I thought, there shouldn't be a problem then
-
Yeah did GOT premiere have any effect? Bc if that didn't then I don't think the 3rd episode (yes, yes, even with the huge battle scene) will have much of an effect

That’s on the 24 hour, not hourly. Hourly still needs to adjust the 07:00 update and hasn’t put out the 08:00 update yet. Will likely be over 9200 when it comes through.
More than 6x yesterday wtf, the ratio is gonna drop a lot I guess but this is an unbelievable start

Went through posts yesterday to find a comp for sometime this morning and the 1472 number is from @VenomXXR at 8:00. I think he adds up the hourlies.
Oh ok, I guess he can clarify then. It just seems like too big of an increase to be believable

Just now, FlashMaster659 said:
They're both the hourly numbers added up.
Are you sure? 1472 seems really low for 8am yesterday. Maybe I don't remember correctly.

You're comparing the hourly number to the whole day cumulative though.

Oh I don't mind, to explain further it's on Pace to finish the day with about 183 million, which is +21m from yesterday and a good jump

I mean it destroys a new presale record seemingly every day and shows no signs of slowing down, at this point it would need to be historically presale-heavy to miss it. (caveat, it's possible, though not likely, that this movie in particular will be historically presale-heavy given the finale+cliffhanger status)
