Afternoon and early evening shows in my local theater have picked up quite a bit. Remaining 20 showtimes are at a collective 55% capacity, including 4 not-well-attended 3D showtimes.

Yeah, that Sunday estimate is a sharper than normal drop.

So if I take it further for the weekend....this is with BP/IW percentages except I'm calculating a 35% Sunday drop ala Disney's usual weekend estimate. Total Weekdays: 118.8 Fri 47.16 (+102%) 77.81 (+65%) 50.58 (-35%) 2nd Weekend: 175.5 (-51%) Total after 2nd WE: 651.42

I'm still having a hard time believing this movie can make $150 million...in it's second weekend. Is there a A:EG second weekend bigger than CM opening weekend club??

That would be incredible!! If I project the "Disney estimated" 35% Sunday drop I can get my number down to 175.5. That would be a more "reasonable" 51% drop from last weekend.

My brain is having a hard time believing it can jump that high after so many people watched it on opening weekend. If I use those jumps the second weekend total is 185.7...a 48% drop.

My local theater added 108 ticket sales from last night's update to this morning as of 9:00am for A:EG today. Number of shows 2D shows: 30 1324 - 4268 31.02% 3D shows: 6 34 - 465 7.31% TOTAL: 1358 - 4733 28.69%

Thought I would take a stab at projecting the weekdays/2nd weekend. This is my conservative outlook for A:EG based on RTH's & Charlies numbers. 1st Weekend: 357.12 Mon 37.5 Tue 34.9 (-7%) Wed 25.1 (-28%) Thu 23.9 (-5%) Total Weekdays: 121.3 Fri 42.94 (+80%) 62.26 (+45%) 48.56 (-22%) 2nd Weekend: 153.8 (-57%) Total after 2nd WE: 632.22
