Fandango has gotta be ranking their presellers by admissions and not gross, right? Been looking through previous tracking threads, and this should easily be top 2 for first 24 hours gross-wise, even with a much higher AMC ratio. For admissions, it would make sense for it to "only" be top 10.

That was Megaplex, not the same coverage area. But my first Denver update was 6470, so close enough, but Denver was after 11 hours versus 3 hours for Megaplex.

Denver is already at 3711 tickets sold. Comps won't really be useful, but just to get a sense of scale, at least locally: Barbie T-3 was at 4274 tickets sold. Let's see how frontloaded this is.

Say what you will about the New Republic by the time of the ST, but honestly they are making sense for the most part right now. The chancellor title has, unsurprisingly, been stripped of a ton of power. The Senate basically has all the power. If the people don’t want another war, and there’s no evidence of a real threat from Thrawn(who have no reason to believe he’s alive), why would the Senators get involved? Plus, there are most certainly Imperial sympathizers that are using the excuse of war fatigue as a cover to allow the Remnants to rebuild/recover. We have 20/20 foresight of course, but if you really look at the current evidence, it really doesn’t support a full scale response. They just stopped an operation by Morgan. Not to mention, they believe the most prominent threat (Moff Gideon) to be captured, on the loose again, or dead. Depends where on the timeline Mando season 3 is in concurrent to this. They definitely could’ve sent a small force of X-Wings and/or A-Wings along with Hera though, which may end up happening since we never actually heard the end of that discussion.

The more I think about it, the more I enjoyed it. It does start off slow, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Baylan and Shin are the highlights so far. I can’t wait for Ahsoka/Baylan scenes. Sabine is great too. Natasha Liu Bordizzo is such a great cast for her. Ahsoka has definitely gotten more stoic, but that’s not surprising given we barely know anything about a decade of her life, It did still feel a bit weird, but I understand it. And of course, Kevin Kiner did not disappoint. I loved the score these episodes.

No late night/early morning launches for us in the States

It would probably only be necessary if we get into Chiss politics. But I doubt that’s happening. Maybe there’ll be a mention, but it really depends on if Dave Filoni is pulling from the canon books or not about his motivations.
