And they have marketed it as Disney movie as well. With Cruella, Black Widow, Jungle Cruise and now Free guy they certainly are performing well

Shang-Chi presales look very promising , I expect around 7.5-8m in previews. OW range of around 60-70m 3-day ig. I am not sure how labor day will play out and how much boost it will give to Sunday. -
Eternals has higher chance of being top grosser of this year I think. Many international markets have still not recovered yet.

Been thinking same how China is not being receptive of MCU movies as they usually used to be. 3 movies in a row facing problem is not a good look.

Since Avengers Infinity war trailer , I haven't rewatched any trailer this much. This is so good , I am floored.

It's doing much better than expected imo. Trailer is perfect. MCU variety will keep it fresh. This was right approach to these characters. If they wanna do multiple movies in a year, some flavor is needed and this definitely has it.

only 2 movies so far in Phase 4 but I agree. BW definetly better than the mess that was FFH. BW has some great character moments and the opening still gives me chills. FFH is meh from start to finish

Eternals quality from even marketing is much better than most MCU movies so that's a promising start. Excited for Trailer.

I think anything over 60m+ in such climate is great. It's a new hero and most of the cast is Asian.
