Very cool. Can't wait to hear it.

That didn't do much for me but still excited for it.

My showing of Underwater was actually decently full last night. It's an okay movie but will probably finish below $15m. Ouch for Kstew.

I think the conversation around billion dollar pictures will be much more dire this time next year when we get less than 5 billion dollar pictures for 2020.

Pikachu doing almost $431m WW coming off the heels of the biggest movie ever is nothing to scoff at. It easily would have done more in a different slot.
That and Shazam both opening near Endgame was an idiotic move. Pikachu could've worked in August against Hobbs and Shaw.
I think this will do very well. The improved graphics between trailers earned a lot of good will, even I want to see it now.

Let's go with 22-23, 10.5 and 4.75. I won't be active today but I guess these will hold.
So a 60%+ drop...
Let me exit this thread.

What are the chances that TROS becomes the highest grossing film to not cross a billion?
If domestic ends at 500m it needs 218 more from overseas to hit a billion. Don't think it'll collapse to that degree to make less than that.
-
... well, go Little Women!
Knives Out and Frozen thriving are also nice to see. Uncut Gems will probably fall off soon but around $40m for this type of movie is very good.
-
In my area theaters look to be doing way worse than yesterday for everything. Hopefully tomorrow increases are bigger than the usual miniscule ones.
-
I'm guessing the 5.75 is F2. Hope LM holds well.
-
15% drop. Not good.
For comparison Smaug dropped 4% on same Friday.

SW: 30
J2: 10.5
F2: 5.5
LW: 5.75-6
SiD: 4.25
KO: 3.25
So around 12m cume for Little Women. Hope it can get to high 20s for the 5-day.
-
So are BOM and the Numbers erroneously counting previews twice for Uncut Gems?
-
Bombshell doing more than Cats today lol
-
I just saw Uncut Gems. Great movie but sooo not an ideal watch on Christmas lol very stressful and frantic. Sandler is terrific though.
-
Knives Out is really benefiting from Richard Jewell and Black Christmas tanking. 120m+ looking good.
-
Interesting that Christmas Eve looks so strong without Tuesday discounts.
Frozen's theater count at 3265. Very healthy. For comparison Moana was in around 2700 theaters and RBTI in around 2400 Christmas week.

So far...there’s never been a movie over $500M+ DOM that didn’t get to $1B+ WW. All other $500M-movies got there, even films like TDK & Rogue One. So it don’t see why TROS would have a hard time getting there, if Disney wants it to make $1B WW.
It doesn't look like overseas will be below 500m so unless it collapses during the holiday 1b is happening.

Ralph Breaks the Internet had a 8.27 multiplier from this weekend in its run. Same multiplier for Frozen would be around 475m finish.

28m+ would be 6th biggest Monday.
Exactly 3x multiplier would get it right above Rogue One. That's the # I'm seeing now but it'd be nice to see some huge Christmas #s.

Shazam was tracking at 45m so hopefully this goes 55m+.
