Almost 900k euros today for No Way Home, surpassing the total gross of Far From Home in six days (and on its first Monday FFM grossed about 600k)
One thing I forgot to mention is that in his first week it has already grossed more than the total of Captain Marvel, Aquaman, Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War

Nearly the same A Star is Born did. Any chances it could leg to ASIB's $7.8M total?
Absolutely no chanches, I think the only realistic target should be to pass the 5M

For Endgame, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia on low $18s, followed by HK and Denmark mid $17s. Japan just $12.5 or so. I'm not sure how ATP have changed since them but I'd assume one of those 4 still on top.
Any data about Norway and Australia? I remember they were really expensive

1.7 million euros for House of Gucci, not bad but if they had released it a week earlier it would have been better (also because Gaga was in Italy to promote the film almost three weeks ago...)

Does anyone know why there is such a big difference between Mexico and Brazil? Usually for Marvel movies they are quite close in total gross...

Italy 4 days (Wed-Sat): € 8.853.520 (1.161.167 adm)
OW (5 days) should be bigger than €11M
It is good to remember that in Italy only full vaccinated people can go to the movies, we are talking about 74% of population to date (44.000.000 out of 60.000.000 people)In theory kids under 12 are excluded, so more like 50M out of 60M

Yesterday evening I finally went to the cinema to see the film, despite the terrible fog of these days that made the travel a nightmare, and surprisingly the first two rows (those closest to the screen) were totally empty, which for example I haven't seen with Endgame despite going to the cinema eleven days after the release instead of four
Anyway, there were laughs, lots of applause in at least 5/6 scenes and also some people crying (especially those behind me...), I'm sure I'll watch it again and I think it will have no problem having decent legs with at least a x2 multiplier (Far From Home had a 2.2), surpassing the first Spider Man and the 20 million euros

I am sorry that overseas fans, especially my Italian companions has undergone such scenario. Distributor at Japan, Toho had asked them about this terrible step. But, Dynit, replied that releasing it alongside with Black Widow and considering CoVid-19 has obliged them to licence copy to Amazon Prime.
However, can you confirm any official dubbing of film in Italian? Because, Korean fans are sadden when Aniplex at Korea rejected to dub the film in Korean.
Yeah at least here it will be dubbed

sat and sun prediction?
I think two million in both Saturday and Sunday, for a first week of about 10 million (which then with the actuals would be slightly higher). I think it's probably in the top 10 openings ever

Ah I was sure you were referring to the international total of Far From Home without China because incredibly it's exactly 542 million 😅

I just want $541,937,240, I think that you know why.
With China and others missing markets, it should have done $700M-$750M opening at the global box office.
I know what you mean, however I'm pretty sure that the numbers in BoxOfficeMojo are wrong (as usual). TheNumbers for example says that the international gross for Far From Home was about 742.8M and not 741.4M, and in China 205M instead of 199M

Is there a chance the movie will end with $150 million worldwide?
Yeah I think it should end at around 50M in US/Canada and at minimum 75M in the rest of the world, and I don't think it's impossible to reach 100M international (in January for example it comes out in Australia, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan)

Yeah don't tell me, here in Italy we are all angry with Dynit. They could have released it in July but in the end they decided to give the exclusive to Amazon Prime (and the film is still on the platform), then the first part of the second season has already shown everything that happens in the film. So at the end it won't gross almost anything, and probably only the most "obstinate" fans will go to see it...

Spider-man €1.5m
Gucci €226k
It's playing closer to Infinity War. Friday and Saturday should be higher, maybe reaching 2 million.
No Way Home
1. €3.050
2. €1.503
Endgame:
1. €5.167
2. €3.848
3. €2.633
4. €2.683
5. €2.658
Infinity War:
1. €2.944m
2. €1.011m
3. €1.241m
4. €1.729m
5. €2.028m
Yeah it will definitely beat Infinity War and also Spider Man 1 and 2. If you had told me this two weeks ago I would have hardly believed it 😅

Spiderman debuts with €2M on Thursday. Endgame did €2.15M
Excellent result, but this also shows that pre-sales (especially during covid) must always be taken with a grain of salt. I remember that the number of tickets sold in advance in Spain was more than double than in Italy, yet the opening day is 50% lower...

Any guesses on full weekend?
No idea, I read that this wasn't a real release and that it had a limited number of copies, so the real opening day should be today

Given that the first day of No Way Home did exactly double the amount of Far From Home, for now I would use it as a parameter. In that case it grossed about 850k on Thursday, so I expect 1.7M for today
-
I must say that I'm really surprised by these numbers, until a few days ago I thought it would have grossed about 50% more than Far From Home and a little less in the markets where the film had done well (South Korea, Mexico, Spain, UK, USA), but now it seems that it will be able to double it for example in Italy, India, France and even in the UK

Asia-China: ~250-300
Europe: ~300-350
hmmmmm......
Endgame grossed about 270M in Latin America, so I guess 200M at max for No Way Home

With these 850k euros it has now passed the total of Suicide Squad, the next is The Dark Knight Rises (at 14.7M) which will allow it to enter the top 10 of the highest grossing superhero movies in the country
