  1. It felt like something that was in the original script (because for some reason we always have to kill the parents) that should have been taken out after Boseman passed.
  2. I legitimately felt like I was coming home from a funeral and a wake when i was walking out of the theater. Didn't help that they added to the overall sense of misery by killing Queen Ramonda as well.
  3. They wouldn't have introduced him if the plan wasn't to have him take up the mantle. And why throw away all the supporting cast? Aging the character up will be super easy with Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
  4. I think T'Challa's son, who is also conveniently named T'Challa, will be the next Black Panther post Secret Wars.
  5. Nobody is saying that. A movie can be great but also not very rewatchable.
  6. The movie was well-made but I haven't rewatched it even once. It was long and so downbeat.
  7. Even if the first movie made only 800M or even under that, the drop we're seeing right now would still be terrible.
  8. Wakanda Forever had the "Heath Ledger effect" going for it. Chadwick Boseman wasn't in the movie but the film was all about saying goodbye to him and the character. I don't think another Shuri-lead Black Panther movie would do well.
  9. That's a good question. I think it's quite possible that they won't pay to see it.
  10. They're not gonna cancel anything that has already completed filming so Echo, Agatha and Ironheart (as well as Daredevil) are still all happening. Wonder Man might be toast though and who knows what will happen to the planned Vision/Wanda sequel series.
  11. Would be funny if that one off-camera line by Mahershala Ali in the post-credit scene of Eternals is all the Blade we'll ever get in the MCU.
  12. I've always hated the practice though. The edited down clips always make the scenes look worse.
  13. It's purely for time and pacing. If they had included Photon then the clip would have been either too long or we wouldn't have sen enough from any of the characters.
  14. https://aiptcomics.com/2023/09/21/full-december-2023-marvel-comics-solicitations/ https://www.gamesradar.com/marvel-comics-december-2023-solicits-covers/ https://www.cbr.com/marvel-comics-december-2023-solicitations/ Issue #1 was solicited as 1 of 4.
  15. He's not going back to Marvel and he's still unproven as the head of a cinematic universe. Maybe he'll work wonders but right now that is by no means a safe bet.
  16. Marvel often doesn't specify if a title is a miniseries or an ongoing in their initial announcement. Nothing was cancelled, it was always a mini.
  17. And who do you replace him with? Everyone else in Hollywood has done a far worse job with superhero movies and cinematic universes.
  18. Where are you getting this? #1 is still scheduled for December and #2 for January.
  19. Lack of a recognizable villain is definitely a problem. You get no sense of character from her in the trailer and she's not interesting-looking. The character is so obscure that he (male in the comics) appeared in 3 issues in the early 90s. That's it.
  20. More Like FalconCap, She-Hulk, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Black Panther and Spider-Man. Although I'm not sure this would do much better.
