1. most people saw into the spider-verse through netlix so it was a bigger deal back then 2. it is noticeably longer than the first including a long stretch of the plot focusing on the characters and not moving forward much after the intro 3. still loved it, I don't think the movie is as well-liked as the first one (will change if Beyond is a banger)

if that's the only big change then I'm expecting everything but Deadpool and spider-man to bomb or flop

I think the Kang Problem is less a casting problem and more how Marvel has completely dropped the ball in getting the General audience to give a shit about the character like Thanos, Loki season 1 did a great job building him up only for Ant-man 3 to completely shit the bed with the character by having him be defeated by ants and changing the original ending, and Loki season 2 is still doing a great job building him up unfortunately because of the mediocrity of the other shows, viewership is noticeably lower this time around. still of the opinion they should push secret wars back to the next saga and end the current one with Kang dynasty, recast kang, end his story there, and soft reboot with KD

anyways, just push back secret war indefinitely and have Kang Dynasty be kang's ultimate fall, have it soft reboot due to time travel shenanigans and set up doom for secret wars
