What the hell is Disney waiting fo announce the others Searchlight movies? There's Next Goal Wins, See How They Run... There's also a 20th Century movie dated to December right after Avatar 2. Although I would move it to January, same weekend of Kraven.

They need better writers here.

Just being honest. These kids... I feel like it will be annoying to watch. I thought America Chavez was really annoying. But tbf the whole thing is poorly written. And I loved Kate Bishop. So... let's see.

Yeah. Other than Peter and Thor and Guardians and maybe Strange(??), Wanda is the most popular character.

Oh TOTALLY. Also said this before but MCU is struggling to introduce interesting characters. Most are uninteresting/annoying. There's nothing that even comes slightly close to Steve and Tony. For example, MCU is going towards a Young Avengers movie. Obviously. But... who will care? Billy and Tommy? Iron Patriot? Kate Bishop? America Chavez? Ironheart?

Oh cmon you know what I mean. I'm not here crying in a empty bath tub while popping a bottle of vodka if that's what you're thinking.

I think if the shows and movies were really good, it wouldn't really matter. But they're just ok at best. And this constant number of forgettable productions... I also can't imagine how the even the biggest fans won't get turned off with time. We're 1 year and 5 months in and I'm mentally exhausted already with this flood of mediocrity.

As a MCU shill myself (yeah I know it doesn't look like it but had a rough week. Moon Knight finale and Doctor Strange were a one-two punch in the face I was not expecting) I can confirm that we try to be very.... positive and try to find excuses for everything. Even tho lots of fans are getting more vocal about each project. Specially the shows. But there's a boiling point. And mine was this week. And it saddens me. And the way you describe the problems of the MCU right now is a very nice way to put it. Been forcing myself through these shows. Convince myself that Moon Knight was going to be the 1st great MCU show and 2022 was the turnaround year. But... wow. Was I wrong. And what made me really angry... it's not the mediocrity on MK and DS2. What made me really angry was looking at this Phase 4 in hindsight and how these 2 projects just delivered more of this mediocrity Phase. I'm honestly done with these shows. Will only keep up with the movies and if somehow I hear Feige made a good series, I will tune in. I just can't keep up with this flood of meh content. It's exhausting and only makes me upset. Phase 4 is a major step-down in quality. And god... Ms Marvel doesn't look good at all. I don't feel any excitement for She-Hulk. Thor 4 and BP2 are my hopeful 2022 projects. Yeah I know I'm being annoying... but I'm in grief right now. Give me a break.

Doesn't really matter to what I said. So much money to spend on even more mediocrity.? I have a theory that from 2023 on, we will see the return to good form. In movies at least (have no hope for the series at all. Specially if they keep this 6 episodes series stupidity). I think these movies were maybe heavily affected by covid? But I have a feeling this is getting beyond wtitters. The MCU is just getting to convoluted. It's also really annoying this stupid necessity of making everything this huge thing. Biggest stakes . It was so unnecessary in Moon Knight (felt no stakes). Gods everywhere now. Eternals. Norse gods. We will get the Greek ones. Throw them all in.

It's crazy how in 2021,there was 8 MCU projects and 6 of them were mediocre to bad. And now in May 2022, we already have 2 MCU projects and they are both extremely mediocre (Moon Knight finale really botched the whole thing for me. Only good thing out of it was Oscar Isaac. And Doctor Strange...won't even get there. One of the worst writing in the MCU. MAYBE not the worst. But... really bad. And weird). Way to start Papa Feige. You're certainly getting us used to it. Let's see how the next 5 or so projects of 2022 go. I guess. Keep the flood.

These numbers are even more depressing than I thought. Well. 1 thing is for sure. This movie and it's numbers are on brand with Phase 4 as a whole: Under expectations. Although the whole Phase 4 is way more than just "under expectations"

Pretty likely. I think it starts filming between July-September. Don't remember correctly. But I would say it's totally likely.

What really botched the movie was the script. What an awful script. Add to that the fact that Raimi style is REALLY not for everyone. Waldron needs to go. Or, honestly, the Multiverse needs to go. And Waldron to.

Why tho? All eyes are on Sunday. I feel like most people skip over Monday actuals.
