    Off topic but Elon Musk pushing a new banning policy during the WC final so less people would know about it quickly is so funny to me. Twitter can not collapse faster enough.

    No Way Home is one of the worst movies from Marvel. I'm surprised how people could be so blind by all those nostalgia. It was horrible movie that didn't even feel like a movie. It tells no story with no real character with no emotion weight (other than blindly emotional just because woohoo three spidermans on the same screen melikey).

    Wanda is an excellent villain, MoM is not her fault. Sadly Wanda probably will be the sacrificed character for Marvel's phase 5 and 6. When that happens, I won't bother watching Marvel at all. i hope Feige keep her for her popularity, it would be a mistake to kill her off Black Widow style.

    Or voting members are more and more diverse in the last few years, giving non-English director bigger chance of being recognized. Why is it weak when it's non-english directors?

    Banshees is just a fancier version of Fabelmans, it made no noise in general public. EEAAO or TGM, we don't need another commercially flopped but critically claimed BP if Oscars wants to stay relevant in culture landscape and connect with younger audience.

    It's an imaginative and out-of-the-box movie, but even then you can't dismiss how creative they were when they made the film, the behind the scenes of that really is something else. You see passion and love from all the crews.

    China had 43% moviegoers buying tickets day of on Friday, though it's two different market. Is 41% high in usa standard?

    Yes that's why they open now with relatively high vax rate (even though it's less effective) and a less deadly variant. They will need to learn to live with it gradually but with precedence set by other countries, they might adapt faster than other countries did.

    Different situation, who is to say that which approach is better? China used its money on keeping death count low for 3 years, It's just different tactic.

    EndGame for one could sale at least some 2d and normal 3d easily when Avatar 2 has done zero business with them. Even people who are afraid of covid could go to those screening with few people in them. I for one would go to see Endgame in 2d with a less crowded theater in current situation.

    I don't think so. EndGame was different beast there. And it has the ''must see as soon as possible'' element that Avatar 2 doesn't have. I think it could do much better even with the covid situation.
