Excellent movie. Both likeable characters. Funny and sweet. The best comedy this summer. IMO.Standing beside Bridesmaids and Horrible Bosses, that's like a 2 pinto's sitting next to a Honda Accord.A.
I don't know what it was, something was missing. Either my concetration or something in the movie. Watered down. Not believable. Some cool action sequences.C.
Bad casting. Nicole Kidman didn't belong in this movie. Typical Sandler humor. Wearing thin. Jack and Jill will probably be a bomb when I see it. I still can't believe Grown Ups made that much money. That should be a crime in 47 states.C+. Only because I like dick jokes.
If they just kept with the story instead of the alternate reality, it could have been a great movie. Arcadey (new word!). It went from shutter island to scott pilgrim.C.
Follow the white rabbit ... NEO. Blue Pill or Red Pill. Kung Fu training was excellent. Perfectly cast. Jumping in and out of the matrix, not quite understanding the whole dimension thing yet not caring since it's so cool. When he reverbs off the building window and shatters it, great art right there. Having to get to a phone quickly. Binary code.It was a masterpiece. I liked the sequels aside from the stomping rave scene in the underground.A+.
Great Soundtrack. Grand theft auto vice city feel. Gory as eff. Beast playing a bad guy was hard to buy. Running a real outfit from a pizza joint ? Not believable. Creepy stare like that would usually have the girl dialing 911. That can all be forgiven for it's serene movie shots and an excellent opening as well as some awesome kills.B.
I had already heard the story told by rolston himself numerous times. I have an active imagination, as do most, this movie was redundant. Hike, Arggghhh, Credits.F.
I sat through this escapade out of sheer will and defiance of the money I paid to see it. Elijah wood ... no thanks. Shocked looked as the ring messes with him and he really needs to get his overactive thyroid fixed before his eyes pop out of his head.F-Bomb.
