  1. I never laughed. Lead actress was a basket case and totally unlikeable. In the world of Comedy, F.
  2. Great Soundtrack.Cap'N Dan.Peas'n'carrots.I just kept runnniiiiinnnnnnnnn.
  3. A.I enjoyed it. Brought us sharito copley , aka , murdoch! Great film, enjoyed it the entire way.
  4. A.Original concept to me. The sequels, not so much!
  5. It shows it's age a bit now. But when I originally watched it, I was thinking, this guy is one cool dude and I want to be like him! Then the threesome, the violence, everything a 13 year old boy could ask for. A+.... and it's Artistic Merit.
  6. ZZZZZZ ... O what. Winslet's breasts ... and cut. A+ for that. The rest of the movie was a chick flick. IMO. D-
  7. A+. One of the best movies ever made. Ground breaking for it's time. I'll always remember the T-Rex Vs. the lamb/goat. Jeff Goldblum running water down the girls hand like a mack daddy. Newman getting owned by that raptor like Dino. Extracting the DNA from the mosquito. Can't say enough about it.
  8. C.I wouldn't want to be a comp artist on that one. I don't even want to think about how long it would take for them to keyframe one single autobot transforming with all those nuts and bolts moving. It's quite amazing they pull that stuff off with just a green screen and then have the Computer Graphics (CG) worked in.Uninteresting story line. I didn't like Mcdermett/dormant or Patrick Dempsey. Those roles felt unnecessary. They should have had John Tuttorro and Sam work out a plot by themselves. Tyrese and the Las Vegas guy really didn't need to be in the movie at all, waste of space. John Tuttorro + Labeouf + Crazy parents would have made for a much better plot. Add in a couple more Optimus Prime battles and it would have been an ... A.
  9. Fantastic movie. All roles were cast perfectly and all acted very well. I enjoyed the action sequences. Perfect mixture of everything. Very well shot movie. I can't wait to see what happens in the upcoming sequel.
  10. In the Super Hero genre, it was quite well done. It had the 1940's (or 20's), feel to it. I definitely enjoyed the first half. I thought the opposition was a bit cheesy and some of Captain America's teammates with the forced french jokes and the other bar brawler with the 'stache ... corny. First half and other parts ... A ... many parts an F. But a solid B overall. IMO.
  11. I don't normally watch cartoons, but when I do, I watch Monster Inc.A

  13. Alright, I take that back.I was never really a fan of the series. Far too many characters to cram into a movie. Ensemble casts this big convolutethe story line and character development. When I am interested in a specific exchange or direction, it suddenly turns to a new character. I liked the Magneto development, Professor-X, the Revenge aspect with the coin. It probably had the most cohesive storyline of them all. Too many side stories.Even Oceans 11/12/13 suffer the same thing.*movie voice introduction*1 movie , 1 minute of screen time. They will crack a witty smiile, say a half wit line, show off their super power then move to the next character.Coming Soon ... X-Men : 100Catch Phrase : Try and figure this one out !
  14. The movie didn't know what it wanted to be. I still don't know what the incessant brushing of teeth meant. So many plot holes. She could use a computer instantly but was afraid of the TV. She traveled with this wacked out family that I could care less about, when they were held hostage in shipping containers, I didn't feel any suspense. An unnecessary boy kissing scene ... this is an 'R' rated film, the 12-year old girl crap can stay out. Then the stereotypical german thug with the boots and bomber jackets was laughable. The Elton John assassin was off the wall. The psycho carnival out of a Clockwork Orange type flick. It was a growth film mixed with a bourne film mixed with Elton John, a father trying to connect to an emotionless daughter, some weird stuff going on with blanchette like the motherly love thing.Tried to be to many things and only skimmed along the surface of different genres.F
  15. Some awesome scenes mixed with some cringe worthy ones. The older actors were great. The teenager aspect and some of their super powers were laughable. Juvenile. Not a worthy addition to the X-Men series.B-
  16. I have a 1920x1080 52" HDTV, but I've never watched true 1080p content on it. Video on Demand I believe is only 1280x720 ... which is better then DVD ... 720x480. No Blu-Ray player though, I don't game on consoles so I never purchased a PS3. I could D/L a Bluray Movie, but the files are far to big that 720p is good enough.I don't rent BR or buy BR. Usually I watch a movie once, I don't find much replay value since the original novelty wears off really fast for me. 1 viewing is enough. VOD ftw !!!
  17. One of the best opening scenes ever. Introduced us to Christopher Waltz. Great acting all around. Slightly fragmented, but that's easily forgivable. It's always good to see original content instead of recycled crap.
