I'm not discussing overall total I'm talking the OW we are witnessing. I predicted $185M on Thursday.As far as I'm concerend all those other factors go out the window as they do not explain the drop in admissions for OW.

Yet somehow we are meant to believe this was because of no joker, ledger death and 'bad' trailers???

It does amaze me that all of a sudden posters (who were not even discussing here before Friday) expected a low OW. For the unprecedented circumstances it faced it has still been a event but it has definitely felt a impact.Trailers, No Joker...and all that other crap was never going to reduce the OW to sell less tickets than TDK on its OW. Common sense needs to prevail here. I thought we were all amateur analysts lol. We should have seen a huge weekend (not necessarily TA $ gross huge but HUGE admissions)..TDK has so much goodwill from audiences it alone should have guaranteed $175m+ (which I believe is TDK adjusted).

You can't replicate 1700 movie fans all cheering and enjoying themselves. Was a great buzz in the air....but have to admit watching DH2 there was better as the crowd were far more animated and hearing people gasp/tear up at the end of HP8 was amazing and emotional.

Was really good. Was completely sold out and there was applause at the beginning and end. The shooting was mentioned by a few people behind me but other than that it was great.

Are posters actually gloating over the box office of TDKR?? Just seems dumb. Also, I just felt the ending was very predictable

Just watched it.I enjoyed it. Catwoman steals the movie. Bane is good but not much of a presence. The ending I have mixed feelings about. Its a good ending but not anywhere near the emotional level people were selling it as plus I guessed the ending 20 minutes into the film when Alfred stated his wish. It did not flow as well as TDK.Overall 8/10

Still I can't believe its doing so poorly in the states. It's sad because its a very well executed movie.

Just came back from a sold out show. Gotta say I enjoyed it but its not on the same level as TDK and too long and the ending is WAY overhyped.
