Woah, woah, woah...how could they have been off by almost 50%!?! That's a huge drop, wth!Though my $19.5m prediction is looking pretty good now

I have some great ideas ( I think) for the game this year. There will be more opportunity for points and it will test your box office prognostication skills more than ever.
-
Instead of none of the above, it should have been other. Cause The Raid is the movie I want to see most this upcoming weekend.
-
Ha yeah that is weird...especially since it follows the fudge job by 21js to show a $35m ow.That's a really specific number for The Lorax
$22,821,295
-
But dude... 0.5m away?
-
Upping my prediction to $19.5m, and that's the last time! I don't care if reports say every midnight show is sold out on earth and the moon, I'm not changing again.
-
-Drive-Game of Thrones (had to go to 3 different best buys last weekend to finally find it! But with the exclusive packaging and $35.99 price, it was well worth it)

Finally saw it on blu-ray, and after hearing how terrible it was, I admit I kind of liked it. It's no where near the quality of my favorite A/A+ Pixar films (Wall-E, TS trilogy, The Incredibles, Rat and Monsters, Inc.), but I'm a sucker for the amazing animation and look of Pixar movies and the film itself was harmless, silly fun. Again, it's no Pixar masterpiece like they usually make, but not the shit I was led to belive.B-/C+/high 70s

I like it?(sorry, I didn't read your whole post, just figured it'd be nice to have a reply haha)Expanding: I usually buy a couple blu-rays a month, usually a combination of my favorite movies for the year and old favorites to build my collection (ala TGWTDT next week and Jaws/Indiana Jones coming out later this year).
-
Haha that's too ironic (especially since I usually re-read my posts a few times before hitting the add button). But I also meant more the literature and art references flying over his head.I agree with you about it taking a little while to get going but I really loved this movie (too). It's in my top 5 of the year, but that may be more a result of 2011 being, what I consider, a down year for movies quality wise.

lol...our fine education system at work right here. (I'm half joking though as I'm guessing English isn't your first language)I don't like art movies, isn't my kind of movie, but I gave a chance for this....I only say one thing, was the first and last movie of Woody Allen that I watchatrocious movie, with a protagonist totally uncharismatic and boring (his fiancee is much more charismatic), and the parts about literature and art I was completely lost, not my kind of movie. the only good thing is the art direction wich is superb and Rachel Mcadams always brilliant.F1.5 10

Meant to comment on this when the actuals came out...but ha! I knew Disney would squeak JC over $30m, was just slightly high with my $30.5m prediction.

I'm sure there are tons of great quotes, but off the top of my head:"How 'bout this. You shut your mouth, or I'll kick your teeth down your throat and I'll shut it for you." -Driver

The 3 best westerns are...a trio of movies I don't care about.I kid, I kid - but yeah other than musicals, westerns are probably my least favorite genre. Off the top of my head the only one I really like the would deserve to be on a top 3 all-time list is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

I hate weekend estimates this early. They're just educated guesses based off of Friday's #'s, we could all do that too.

Isn't this the same nonsense range post from hours ago we were making fun of in the midnight thread? :/
